Hotel rooms are clean, especially like the powerful shower. Location is strategic where easy access to places, and the mall opposite provides much convenience. If you need local food recommendations, the hotel manager is a walking directory as he has a blog on food.

Come to this hotel when I need to do a visa run from Thailand. Right in the centre of KB and has a nice mall right across. Hotel itself, not bad, not great. Has a tv with English movies and the wifi is pretty good. I had a room facing the garage and they have very bright lights on at... More

This is the second time I have stayed at the Tune in Kota Bahru and it serves a very good purpose. I was there for business reasons and it appears to be difficult to find nice budget hotels there. The Tune hotel is a very safe bet well price, clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. There is a... More

The city is steeped in muslim spirit and spirit; you do not find tall buildings \\ residents who have not been corroded by modernisation. It is close to the Thai border so worth a visit or cross the border. But beware of the existing situation in southern Thailand as some routes could have a fairshre of risks in the presence... More

Our room was in front of the highway connector; very noisy bikes were racing all night. The window of the room was single pane and shaking with the vibrations. The room was dirty ( hair all over the place, dust accumulated on corners of bedroom and bathroom. Staff not speaking English, Internet unstable, unsecure and hard to use. AC was... More

Stopped here for one night on our way to the perhentian Islands. Rooms are very clean and modern. We booked a package which included free wifi, tv and air con. Not sure I would be happy paying for all of this, so my advice would be to make sure you book a package when you make your reservation.
