Specifically booked a room with double bed room online a few hours before arrival, when we got there we got told there were no double bed rooms available so we were given a twin beds room. Not the end of the world but a little annoying. Then at 00.30am as we were sleeping, the aircon started leaking A LOT. Water... More

First of all; make sure you don't go to Kota Bharu at all. If you do, this is a fair choice. The prices are ok, but the location is a bit far away from the city centre. Which is no problem, because there is really nothing to do there. Next door is a fine pizza place which has a funny... More

We arrived around 8PM and would leave again at 7AM, so we just wanted a cheap hotel where we could spend the night. This place looked decent enough. We had a very warm welcome and he arranged a cheap taxi for us in the morning to go to the jetty. What I didn't like, was the fleece blanket on the... More

This place felt dirty, old fashioned and grubby. The room had no windows and was dingy to say the least. We could feel the springs through the mattresses and only a blanket was provided (and we don't think it had been washed). To call this place a hotel we think it should have sheets on the bed and a window!... More

Old fashioned place not in the city center but at 10 min walking. very kind and helpful personnel but the place is really poor and dirty. No windows in the room, if you have the possibility don't sleep there. In general try to avoid Kota Bharu, not really interesting.

We stayed here as a family with two small children on our way from Thailand through Malaysia back to Singapore. The hotel is nothing grand but serves the purpose of staying somewhere cheap and central. Yes the walls are thin and there are no top sheets, there are no windows but this is to be expected at the price we... More

I have stayed in some sketchy places after backpacking trough India and the rest of Asia extensively, and this place was one of the worst places I have ever been. Rooms disgusting, sheets clearly had not been cleaned in god knows how long, carpet felt moldy and worn, bathroon not very nice, no sheets just a ratty old quilt thing,... More

My friends and I stayed in this hotel for a few nights before heading to the Perhentian islands. We were staying in the suite which was basic but clean. We were provided with towels and toilet paper and water upon request with no extra charge. We couldn't check in early but the staff looked after our luggage. We decided to... More

Avoid this hotel by all mean !!! By far the worst hotel we have made in Malaysia. The staff is friendly, and according to the number of positive comments, its seems they do have a lot of friends or relatives... But before booking you have to know that all rooms are without window, without bedsheets, without towels... just a kettle,... More
