This hotel is 5 min from Kuah (town area), 20 min from Pantai Cenang (popular beach area). Celebrating my husband birthday in this resort was the best choice I have made. I would like to take this opportunity to thank their staff Fuad, Zacky (front desk) and especially Chira from the F&B. My kids and I wanted to surprise my... More

I recently travelled to Langkawi for a weekend away from Singapore, and wanted to stay somewhere a bit unique, and not the typical, overpriced beach resort. Our room was only 90 RM, apparently on a Ramadan promotion. Given the price, I would say that I was very happy: -Our room was a native style chalet. It has an appealing wooden-design,... More

The place is far from beaches. Recommended for those who would love to experience living in kampung. The view of padi field from my room and the sunset is beyond words to explain. The room is spacious. Bit run down. Night time very very dark and can be creepy too. Sounds of nature during the night might wake you up.... More

This hotel is situated in the middle of the island and is somewhat remote from anything else. Unfortunately the pictures we saw did not reflect reality when we arrived. To get to your room a car ride is required up and down the hills, and unless you are really fit this is the requirement to get to the reception area... More

We stayed at Rumah Chot. Very spacious room with extra mattresses available. Can even accommodate the whole family. Nice breakfast. Not suitable for honeymooners though the hotel provides best privacy. Too quite, very dark, too creepy at night. Suitable for families or travellers in large group.

The lobby is traditional malay style but obviusly aged. Room is spacious, consist of 2 single beds and a set of sofa. The whole room are made of wooden including floor. My room has... More

Pros: + affordable rates + very private, suits for couple or honeymooners to have some privacy time + well air-conditioned. Cons: - the place is so dark & looks wicked - far from town - love the kampong concept but its just poorly maintained.
