We selected the City Bayview Hotel based on the reviews on this very web site and also the fact that it offerred the best prices for a room that could accommodate all our children in the same room as us. Location is the only reason we are there. Its 1 minute walk to cheapest shopping in Kuah town. There's also good local food shops and banks nearby. Room is clean, bed is okay. Nice pool. Don't expect much service - had to "beg" to get the bell boy. Breakfast is not good, I can only get Malaysian food. Stay here... more

We stayed at Bayview on 11 January 2009, we booled thru the website...the room we had been upgrade to seaview...and it has a comfortable bed and the toilet is spacious.. advisable to ppl who want to do shopping and also it is easy to get transport from here... more

The hotel was a one night stay as we wanted to check out the eagle and shopping in kuah. Our stay was fine breakfast is very malaysian but thats ok. just returned from a 4 day stay @ the bayview hotel. the hotel is a average hotel hallways still got that mouldy smell not much to choose from for breakfast.staff was ok more
