This is a really unusual hotel, with amazing traditional chinese houses as accomodation. Everything was perfect for us and the dining was also a superlative experience. More

This place is so unique. I have just returned from holiday and spent four nights here, how luck was I!!! Its a collection of colonial style buildings refurbished with so much detail and style. This is unusual for Langkawi which i didn't like as an island so much but would recommend going just to stay here and at there other... More

Another year of our now annual visit to Temple Tree and yet again the whole exceeds the sum of the parts and our time relaxing either by the pool, the Straits or in Black and White house pays dividends on our health. We already miss JJ and our house cat but the whole team at TT & Bon Ton are... More

Collection of old wooden houses in a quiet, rustic (not manicured) setting (apart from the odd plane from the nearby airport). Lovingly restored with lots of interesting features. Houses have some aircon in the critical rooms (bedrooms) and fans etc. Comfortable but not luxurious like the plasticised big name resort hotels. However, when you stay here you get half a... More

I cannot recommend Temple Tree highly enough. Our accommodation in Estate 2 was lovely, the grounds were beautiful, but the service was what really set this place apart. Anything we could possibly have wanted was pre-empted and we were truly pampered. Can't wait to return. More

Very friendly and welcoming staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The rooms are excellent, clean and very good privacy. Bathroom had a double shower. The resturant has excellent food and breakfast is brought to your room the night before, placed in the fridge and will be taken away for you the next day. Rooms have... More

What a great hotel! We stayed in one of the colonial rooms and we loved our time here. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quirky, beautifully designed and quaint experience. Brilliant! More

We stayed during LIMA so most of the island was booked up with people on business, but that meant the area was not too crowded with tourists. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with booking tours, calling taxis, and catering to special requests. We always had a table at NAM, the deservedly well rated restaurant on the premises. Breakfast... More

First of all we really had a good time there. The food is really good, the place is pretty and being able to access Bon Ton is nice since Bon Ton always has staff around and has a much bigger food menu. It's true you have to rent a car to go around but that was what we wanted to... More
