It's a heritage like place with old furniture brushed to look as new as it is and the smell and sound of nature just take my breath away.. There are 5 of us and so we took Plantation 3 room. The rooms were very spacious and clean with huge dry and wet toilets. Breakfast were send to the room the... More

My husband and I spent a few nights at Temple Tree over New Year. We had left it rather late to book but the staff were very accommodating when we phoned, managing to fit us in. As it was short notice they informed us that we would have to change rooms in the middle of our stay which was not... More

Great value for money for a two bedroom room for myself and two teenage kids. Awesome staff, food and coffee. Need to sort out the cleanliness of the pool and the quality of the breakfasts. Interesting wildlife including spiders, birds and monitor lizards, not to mention the cats. Not within walking distance of the beach which was disappointing, but easy... More

very unique n romantic. we stay in upgraded villa plantation 5, 2 room + 2 bathroom. very cozy, comfortable & interior decor really charming. nice for art & architect lover. breakfast was ok but still can be improve. the only complaint - the room quite noisy due to noise from cracking wooden floor & from guess upstairs.

We stayed at the temple tree for 5 nights in January 2016 and absolutely loved the place. The staff is very helpful and the surroundings are obsessively relaxing. We stayed both in a Estate villa and a Plantation villa, which are old colonial houses with beautiful and tasteful decor. The site has three natural pools where you can relax overlooking... More

We had such a wonderful stay at Temple Tree and it was an oasis of calm away from the hustle and bustle of Pentai Cenang. We stayed in a Penang colonial house which had been reconstructed in the resort. All of the buildings had been restored very tastefully but also in a way which made for comfortable accommodation. The staff... More

We rented Penang House with my family, 3 bedrooms + a small office for the 7th extra bed. It is a wooden house, all white and green. Fans in all rooms, A/C in bedrooms but no window so not very effective / environement friendly. We slept well without A/C. Mosquito repellent & plugs are provided in each bedroom. Anyway, nice... My husband and I booked for 5 nights over the Christmas week. Booking a room at 300$/night, we were expecting a nice, relax and luxurious stay. When we arrived, we were quite disappointed. The resort is made of old colonial houses which provide a nice authentic feel. However, the overall experience is not to the expected. - The breakfast is... More

This is an interesting location. Atmosphere of the compound with tropical styled buildings kinda cool. rooms good. Bit out if the way if you don't have a car. Service excellent. Bon ton restaurant next door worth a visit. Profits support dog and cat rescue. Just like the owners bar in Penang - china house- overpriced but still recommend
