Stayed at Bon Ton, connected to Temple Tree. Malayan house we stayed in was very interesting and unique. Excellent service. Restaurant had great food. Cats explored around and fun to watch. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Temple Tree as a ending of a family trip to Malaysia...a few days of fun in the sun after a hectic week with friends and their kids in KL. When we found Temple Tree online we were really excited at the prospect and my children spent quite a bit of time choosing just the right "house".... More

Fantastic hotel in old colonial style buildings. Nice ‘antique’ furniture and lots of nice touches in the room. Buildings nicely spaced out and nice verandas in the main building to enjoy meals and drinks. Would recommend it to anyone. Don't know of many Hotels where one gets offered a welcome drink in the form of a cocktail, wine or beer.... More

This is a place to stay to have a 'village/kampung' feel. Noticed there were no phone in the room to contact operator, wifi connection was not working, but the calm surrounding and friendly cats was a good distractions.

i come from a family of high standard hotel operators so i know fantastic service when i see it. we were only here for a night! number one, this place is basically in a jungle. yes there will be bugs. you're on an island - and they provide a whole artillery of repellant for you to make you more comfortable!... Unusual accommodation in antique individual traditional Malay houses of wooden construction . Next door to Bon Ton for evening sundowners and restaurant . Long swimming pool for excercise lengths not deep but very attractive surroundings all around. No hustle and bustle , quiet old fashioned environment .

This is a most interesting resort, built to feel like a little kampong (village). While it feels very rustic, it does come with modern facilities one will expect from a boutique hotel. I stayed in Estate 2 for 4 nights. The AC didn't work the first day we were there despite several attempts by the staff to fix it. It... More

Really fantastic staff and a lovely restored area. Be aware I'd you don't like cats they operate an animal rescue centre and there are quite a few around the grounds. Very friendly and tame though. Also amazing cocktails and cakes!

We looooved Temple Tree. Service Is amazing, and the rooms in old restaured house are tastefully decorated, huge and comfortable. Simple but Nice pool, good food, cute cats (it's also a shelter). Probably better for couples than party animals as it is a bit remote from all the action in Pantai Cenang. Would go back and recommend.
