Awesome hotel consisting of rebuild British colonial as well as peranakan styled houses with spacious well maintained rooms. Same owner as next door Bon Ton and China House on Penang. Lovely and helpful staff, good food options and great garden pool. In short: an awesome place to enjoy a bit of luxury after 4 basic stays on the Thai Andaman... More

This hotel is one of the most characteristic hotels where I ve stayed around the world. Because there are many cotages for acomodations and many cats walking around the garden and inside office or room.My room was standard or basic class with good tasteful funitures, vase, the other, although I may need to be patient a little bit of old and dirty something.... Its an enchanting place in the middle of nature in the wild island of Langkawi. Far and near from everything, walk distance from main touristic town full of restaurant-bar-shops-services...and near from wild nature. We stayed in the suite delux, which i hardly recommend: beautiful two-room appartment with big bathroom and huge living room full of colours. Every morning a continental... More

This place was just wonderful. The resort/hotel difficult to know what to call this is made up of a series of old buildings from around Malaysia some up to 100 years old. We stayed in the Chinese House - beautiful building and furnishings. Double wooden bath tubs were a nice touch. Breakfast was a little limited but that's a small... More

This is a wonderful, beautiful resort. We stayed in colonial suite 2 which was beautiful & really spacious. I love the different houses, they all look beautiful and the swimming pool was awesome & quite possibly the longest I've ever been in. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our only negative comments are that the mosquito net had holes in... More

I went to Langkawi for 3 days & 2 nights, and this place (Temple Tree at Bon Ton Resort) is amazing! amazing! amazing! This hotel is just a 10-min drive from the airport and a 5-min drive or 10-15min walk from Pantai Cenang Beach. On my first night, I stayed to their "Colonial House ", which comes with a vintage... Rooms are wonderfully unique, service was brilliant and the food was amazing on the Friday night special. Its a bit of a walk from the main strip (you can easily hire a scooter like we did as its so much cheaper than cabs but it was certainly worth it and the rescued cats that take up residence are a nice... We were 5 girlfriends staying at Temple Tree and would definitely recommend it. Great service, food and surroundings. Don't stay there if you do not like cats. There are quite many but they are sweet and clean. There's a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Were met with the sight of Brutalist & Yasmine having their afternoon nap at the reception and thought "Cats! My kind of place!!!!". Check in was a breeze & the welcome drink refreshing. The welcome cat GriGri too cute 😊. Mr Hazli showed us to our room and gave us the interesting background on the houses at Temple Tree. They are relocated... More

We arrived at Temple Tree and felt very welcome by the warm reception that we received. They gave us choices for our welcome drink and it was really great for the hot weather over the weekend. We chose their special, which was the pineapple mint tea. Very refreshing! As it was our first visit to Langkawi, the receptionist even guided... More
