We booked 2 rooms of Hotel Selesa through Agoda by Credit Card on 20th March (Friday) for a stay on Saturday (21st). After lunch at KSL Mall, we a taxi to Hotel Selesa Johore Bahru which was about 1km [5 minutes] from KSL. Generally, decent rooms and F&B outlet. Some rooms do have issues with maintenance such as bathroom items/features not being repaired. Buffet breakfast at coffee house runs out of food rather fast and waiting for replenishment can be quite a while.

Positive: Well located on a low hill away from the bustle of town, yet within walking distance of a supermarket and a bus station. A good looking building. The room was fairly large and spacious. Negative: Almost everything in the hotel is old and run-down. The room (402) smells of degrading rubber / foam; the carpet is degrading and badly... More

I stayed at 2 different rooms during my stay. The first room was rather disgusting. Bathroom had a broken light, flush was rather strange. Hot water was not great but not devastating. Bed and pillow smelt weird as well. Carpet was in poor condition. The second room was slightly better. My friends in other rooms were not as fortunate however.... More

Room is spacious, clean and carpeted. Breakfast is good,, variety and delicious. Swimming pool is good, privacy and clean. Near to Johor Port (husband need to work at Johor Port for 1 day) The room- spacious and clean but no free wifi. The shopping complex is just across the road - KFC, small mall but it's ok

Being the only budget hotel around PG Industrial Estate, it offers convenience and quick access to the visitor without the hassle of going thro JB traffic. The breakfast was reasonable and Thai food is available for lunch/dinner at their restaurant. It's within walking distance of the business complex and Masai/Kip Mart is less than 10 minutes away.

Since this hotel is walking distance from our Malaysia office I come here to use the public lobby, meeting rooms and restaurant. Nothing to ravel or to complain about. The lunch buffet is simple but quite a good deal.

I have booked the room 1 week earlier, and clearly stated that i requested for room with 1 queen bed. Upon check in, the front office staff informed that there were no queen bed room available. I insisted on the room since I've clearly requested earlier. He then said that he'll check on the available room with sour face. Finally,... More
