We've just returned from a 6-day stay in this amazing place. The island as such is magical with white sand beaches and light blue-green waters, The resort is incredible, totally natural-like style but at the same time the interior of the villas is quite luxury. The service is very warm and friendly (as in most places in Asia) and the... More

We (2 adults + 2 daughters) spent a long weekend (SG50-10.08-13.08.2015) at Batu Batu. The first impressions were stunning but unfortunately for the price a let down. At USD560/night (incl food/drinks) thinks need to be spotless. We stayed at Villa 3. Pro: crystal clear waters with powdery white sans and a very intact house reef. The rooms are huge and... More

This is the BEST place I have ever been - the only bad bit about our trip there was that it wasn't long enough!! The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive, the accommodation is spotless and deluxe, and the food is amazing and more than sufficient. We holidayed on the island as two couples for 2 nights. We arrived... More

We stayed at Batu Batu Private Island Resort for 2 nights and 3 days and it just was not enough. From the moment you get of the boat from Mersing and step onto the jetty, you really are in other world. The crystal clear water and palm trees instantly transport you from stressed out to chillax. The staff are super... More

Ok.. so you are thinking - will the beach be as nice as the photos, will the water be clear, will the food be ok, will the staff be organised and professional, will my room be comfortable and clean. Is it worth it. Well let me answer that for you. YES! - The water and beach are beautiful and well... More

Stayed 2 adult + 3 kids in a 2 bedroom pool villa. Everything was above expectations. Nice secluded Island, nice beaches, waters so close to Singapore and the mainland. The sustainable resort was build in respect to the surroundings and was luxury, coxy and the unformal service was outstanding. Would definitely go there again and strongly recommend it to other... After a torturous trip to Mersing given the national day weekend it was an absolute joy to arrive at Batu Batu. I had high expectations given all I had heard and for the most part it delivered. We had a two bedroom villa which was great, spacious and clean. The outside bathrooms were lovely. The pool was great but the... More

First of all, Batu Batu is a beautiful island, with one of the best beaches that I have seen for some time. It has some excellent aspects, and also some that do need addressing. The best bits: The long sunset beach is stunning the sand is white, soft and deep, and the sea is perfectly clear. In my top ten best... More

This is a fabulous place for a short break away from the hussling and bustling of Singapore. A place to disconnect from the world (no TV, no phone) in an ultra connected world....No, you are not going there to do some work in such a beautiful resort. And honestly you shouldn't. The food is stunning. The creativity of the chef... More

We stayed at this resort for five nights. We had a lovely holiday, but there are pros and cons of this resort. Before I list them, I would go back again. Pros: The food was fabulous. I had no complaints about any meal and thought the chef did an amazing job. The island is beautiful. The beaches are beautiful, the... More
