The location of this hotel is pretty good. Its quite a short walk to JBCC (Johor Baru City Square), one of the main shopping arcades but just be mindful if you decide to walk at night as you will have to walk thru a back lane route to the main road leading to JBCC. The service at the front office... More

This is one of the old and established hotel in JB. Eventough it is quite old, the room is still quite good and the environment is somewhat classy. A terrific way to explore the city. The breakfast buffet was marvelous. Will definitely go here again

The Putri would have to be the friendliest hotel in Johor. The executive lounge has improved 500%' the renovations have been all worth it and the lounge is now running like an executive lounge but it is now called the 'Sky Lounge'. The lounge iris 5 star. Job well done, Putri. The hotel is old and it is in Johor... More

We had a business trip and stayed here for one night. The rate was very cheap at rm200 per night with good breakfasts spread for 2. Staff were super friendly and quick. However, the hotel need refurbishment on its furniture and fittings such as the room carpet and lightings... Overall, for rm200 per night, it's worth it.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a stopover. We had a non-smoking room on 11th floor facing the sea. As we had read the previous reviews (Thanks to all reviewers), we were not surprised with the conditions. Our room was clean with sufficient toiletries in the bathroom including toothbrushes. However the bathroom was in poor repair. The carpet in... More

Service - staff are friendly and always wear a smile in there face. Value - faily reasonable for a 5star hotel Sleep Quality - A/C is very weak even in full power. Cleanliness - the place is clean from lobby and to the room, but in the hallway most of the carpets specially in the 6th floor where we got... More

My family and I were there on 29th till 31st May. The location of the hotel was ideal. It's just next to the Persada convention centre and there is an overhead connecting bridge from the hotel it self. The nearby shopping centre was just within walking distance. Therefore food won't be a problem. Buffet breakfast was nice with a good... More

This is an oldish hotel in the centre of town. Traffic around here can be horrible, and the carpark is poorly signposted. Corners in the carpark are also tight and can make driving up and down something of a harrowing experience. Front counter staff are friendly, but I was given key cards to a room which was already occupied -... More

Stayed here for a night while attending a conference in PERSADA The plus points - great service, the staff were helpful and cheerful despite the large crowd attending the conference. - food for breakfast was simple yet tasty, one of the better breakfast spreads for a local hotel The negatives - rooms were old and run down. In serious need... More
