Stayed for 2 nights. Railway near hotel, lot of noise when train passes. Rooms are large, bathroom was fair. Food in hotel was ok. I guess its well located in JB given there are 2 shopping centers nearby. Breakfast buffet was average, lacks of variety of food.

A good hotel, good infrastructure and good food, but the best part of the hotel was its service, which was quick and the staff were polite and helpful. Regarding rooms, they were good but need more focus n clean as they could have been better. The food quality was very good and i enjoyed the vegetarian samosa. The best of... More

Went with a total of 2 couples. This time round, checking in was difficult. Front office could not find my 2 room reservations despite me booking directly online with Mutiara. Took almost 25 mins to finally check in. After checking in, then we realised we were given a smoking room & the room was not fully made up. An hour... More

I always stay in this whenever visit JB. This is just like my second home. The staff are friendly and helpful especially one of the Manager, sorry I didn't note your name, but I can remember him very well. Whenever we have problem checking in at the front desk, he will step in just on time and help us to... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with 2 children in 2 rooms. Asked for connecting rooms and they changed the rooms to connecting rooms with a smile. The rooms were clean and large. One with 2 large queen and one with a large king bed. Wifi was free and was fast, easy to surf internet, see a movie clip. No... More

Stayed here twice in the span of 6 months. Breakfast was average. Air-cond was too cold. Bathroom needs to be upgraded. Comfortable for couples and family. No good walking distance restaurant except for the hotel's. Other attractions in Johor are is not too far away from the hotel. Overall: Definitely coming back here.

There wasn't a doorman when we entered the newly renovated-looking lobby of the Mutiara. The hotel, located a little further away from town was nice for Johor Bahru. The check-in staff was somewhat snobby, and we didn't really like the way she makes us feel not as welcomed as we expected (she didn't smile the whole time and seem to... More

I haven't stay in this hotel for a long time, they upgraded my booking from superior room to deluxe room with two queen size beds. The room is newly renovated and clean. Next to the hotel is a shopping complex, you can find a lot of hand phone accessories there but the complex is quite old. The sauna was quite... More

Stayed: 1 night, 2nd stay. Location: This hotel is at the city center of JB, next to Holiday plaza. 10 mins-walk away to KSL city mall. Shopping: Holiday plaza looking like a den, Mostly handphone shops, with only 2 edible eateries: KFC and Macdonald's. Nothing else nearby except KSL and small massage outlets. Status: The hotel has done with the... More

We were invited for our family friend's function over the weekend in JB. This is our second stay as a family and we had booked a Junior Suite for our family of five. I noticed that the lobby had undergone a major facelift. It is much brighter & looking chic. During our stay, it was raining almost all day in... More
