Stayed one night in January 2012 and paid Euro 150 for the privilege....had to leave early and was told breakfast could not be served before 7am so had a barely adequate packed breakfast prepared. No hot beverages either available (surely coffee or tea could have been provided in reception for us?) and although our room had a kettle there was... More

Accepting that this is only a 3 star hotel it certainly punches well above its weight. The staff are very attentive and supportive of new visitors to the area. The superior room has a spacious veranda and grassy sun deck with 180 degree lake views. The deluxe rooms look more than adequate and good value. More

Spent a weekend here with a family from Lilongwe. Of course, the hotel is nothing like you would find in the US or Europe, but it had a spectacular location which made up for that! Our room had two twin beds with air conditioning, a private bath, and mosquito nets. The hotel had two great restaurants with excellent food. There... More

Spent a very restful weekend on Lake Malawi in October. My hosts brought me to this "resort" location. The location couldn't have been more perfect, right on the bay with clean beaches and a great view of the small island off the coast. It was a bit breezy and the lake waves resembled the ocean but the weather was great... More

This property was recommended by World Vision as we visited a sponsor child in Malawi. The location is perfect, right on the lake, the restaurant staff were very nice however..... DO NOT put your valuables in the hotel safe in the office. The hotel duty manager is apparently the only person with the key and when we checked our money... More

There is no doubt that this hotel has a lovely setting and the staff are most attentive. It is, however, quite tired for the price which is definitely premium range. Our room decor was worn, the mosquito net wasn't in the right place and the whole could have done with some tlc. On the positive side, there is a wonderful... More

We stayed here for two nights in one of their top rooms, I think it was room 220 off te top of my head. Our check in was fine, very friendly and they showed us around our beautiful room which was were very pleased with. We were only metres away from the lakeside and uninterupted views of the lake and... More

This hotel's number one selling point is the beach location. The sand is pristine, the beach chairs are comfy, and the moon at night is spectacular. The staff greeted us nicely during check-in, and they quickly took our bags off to our room. We stayed in a standard room which was not as nice as I like, but it was... More
