My second time in Blantrye. I flew into Lilongwe and then travelled by road to Blantrye. I encourage visitors to Malawi to travel by road. You enjoy the scenery. And the people are friendly. The rooms are small and the beds are fairly confortable. Sunbird hotels are probably the best in Malawi. They are clean and adequate. There is a fairly extensive breakfast but I would have liked more fruit. The Mount Soche is in central location.
