A great place to stay. I reckon it matches anything else we stayed in in Madagascar. The sand was so fine you could see the Sperry brand left in the sand. The crab and the Camaron were amazing. We stayed in Chez Maggie for 1 night after visiting Krindy forest. The hotel is a little oasis in the dry desert. Chez Maggie's is a wonderful place to stay. My partner and I stayed here on two separate occasions. I only stayed one night at Chez Maggie, but found the rooms charming and the food stunning, especially by comparison with other hotels we'd stayed at. The "prawns" were bigger and tastier than most lobsters I've eaten. The hotel is right on a long, sandy beach. I'd have likes to stay longer.

We spent two nights Chez Maggie. I won't say that we enjoyed the first night in bungalow 1 (AVOID!) without airco, but as many things in Madagascar, if you put your case calmly and politely, heaven and earth will be moved to satisfy you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great with lots to choose from on the menu. Nice bar with wifi. Direct access to a nice, clean beach. The rooms were large and comfortable. Recommended.
