I spent one night at this hotel as part of a package. It was in a nice location overlooking the bay. The room was creative with coloured lights under the bed and in the bathroom. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and there was a small fridge in the room. Wifi was available in the room. Breakfast was served... More

My boyfriend, 4 other friends, and I arrived in Diego Suarez from Ankarana in the evening. The first hotel we went to could accommodate us, but it would have been cramped and was all with shared bathrooms. We were okay with this for the price, but the girls and I decided to walk up the road and check out other... More

Lovely and quiet hotel with comfortable big rooms. The best thing was the beautiful garden which was great for having a beer, enjoying the view of the bay and relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever go back to Diego.

We were somewhat disappointed with this hotel after reading all the good reviews. While the grounds are very nice with colorful gardens and plants everywhere, and there are good views over the sea from the café, the rooms left a lot to be desired. Our room was dark and stuffy with no windows and no view whatsoever. In fact, most... More

A pleasant surprise this: a small resrt with panoramc views of Diego Suarez bay, ideal if you are passing though on the way to Nosy Be or spending some time in this small city. The facilities of the resort were the best I experienced on the Madagascar mainland - competent, English speaking staff, wi-fi internet throughout. The rooms were very... More

I originally booked the hotel EMeraude, supposdedly a top end hotel according to our Lonely Planet guide. Once we saw it, we were disappointed and decided to walk a little farther, to this LP pick. The very friendly and polite lady showed us two rooms, one small with aircon and another a bit larger without aircon. The layout was the... More

This cute and simple hotel is located in the centre of the town, a 3 minute walk away from Rue Colbert. Our room was very clean and had a tv (although only one channel worked), a/c and a bathroom. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel features a lovely garden and a roof terrace with a great view on... More
