I have never imagined that one day I would use ear plugs at a "wellness and spa resort". This place is simply awful, the loud music at the resort stay up till 4am every night, which makes it impossible to sleep. We chose the Edde Hotel for a weekend getaway from the city. It is located at a 45 minutes distance from Beirut and represents a nice spot to visit the North region. What an incredible resort. Edde Sands defines luxury and lebanese cool. The beds surrounding the pool are incredible and the staff are polite, helpful and attentive. Will definitely be back. more

The Edde Sands is on the outskirts of Byblos about 30km north of Beirut. We stayed in a "Maison Lebanaise" which overlook the quite decent beach, the chalets are comfortable and even have a bed on the roof terrace if you want to watch the sea as you go to sleep!
