When you search a hotel on booking, com or tripadvisor you feel you get an idea of a hotel but I didn't allow for being electrocuted by faulty wiring and poor internet. If you want a basic hotel in Kuwait then its fine but don't go with family or someone your want to impress. Poor furnishings generally

Acceptable accomodation at very logical prices in the heart of Kuwait City. Lets say that this hotel is simply an acceptable play to stay in the city. Room is suite like with seperate seating area, and dining table. Negative thing is that there is a construction site facing the hotel, and the demolition tractors started working at 7 a.m. Breakfast... More

Not a great hotel. Its in the middle of nowhere (a maze of busy roads), not really near the waterfront but you can walk there in 20 mins if you take your life in your hands on the roads. Room was enormous, more like a suite, but it was shabbily furnished and smelt really musty. I would prefer a normal... More

While the location is great, that plus is outweighed by lackadaisical service and continuous glitches. I was there for a 2 week business trip. Every single day something went wrong. The Internet is testy and although free it doesn't work most of the time. You need a new code daily. I complained so often that they finally gave me the... More

Excellent location for shopping in kuwait. Nice rooms and good breakfast to start your day. Very helpful staff they give good attention to customers needs. Beds are very comfortable but the sofa in living area need to be changed or refurbished.

l have booked my room at this hotel by booking.com and found the place very convenient to many business spots.Hotel looks new and rooms are ok with all facilities available for business travellers.Breakfast is ok with enough choices for a 3 start category hotel.Price range is also attractive. Just around the corner, there is one of the most expensive shopping malls... More

Booked through the internet, the Ritz-Sharq was easy to confirm at a good room rate. On arrival, I was upgraded immediately to a large suite. The hotel reception staff were extremely friendly, and efficient, and were always on hand for assistance during my stay - e.g. calling a taxi for me. The hotel is close to shopping areas - both... In an outrageous expensive city, this is a gem. Free and fast wifi, great breakfast, quiet and large rooms with great showers. Good location. Can provide air-port pickup for 5 KWD. It is hard to find any negative things to say, but he beds are very hard (which we love) and the pillows like stone! Use the decorative pillows instead.... More

We booked a three bedroom apartment for four nights at Ritz sharq. The overall experience was extremely enjoyable. The hotel's strongest asset is the staff. They are extremely friendly, helpful, and always looking to please the guests. An example of that is when we checked out, we found out that the hotel car will not fit our 4 suitcases, but... More

We stayed in Kuwait for a week and our agent gave us two options the Ritz Sharq or an Ibis. Well the Ibis was a little cheaper but we went for the Ritz Sharq. We hit the bullseye. Our suite was excellent, great sized lounge area, neat and comfortable bedroom with a little tired but functional bathroom. I was knocked... More
