An elegant intimate luxurious tented camp privately located under Doum Palm trees on the banks of mighty Ewaso Nyiro River. Giraffe Elephants Baboons Gazelle all grazing quietly nearby is surreal. Drinks on the river bank at sunset was a highlight. Excellent food, warm friendly team. The game viewing is exceptional. I will be back soon. Thank you.

We have been 5 times so far to Elephant bedroom camp,it truly is fabulous and still my most favourite place out of all the places in Kenya that I have visited, for tented accommodation it is so comfortable with fab views of the river, and visits from Elephants. The staff are absolutely fabulous Joseph,Julius,James and Anthony. The rooms are comfortable spacious and... More

The tents are spacious, the food was excellent, and the game drives very well done. Breakfast and lunch are served at a lovely area near the river, and dinner is served in the main dining area. On two consecutive days our lunch was temporarily interrupted by an elephant affectionately named Obama who strode into the lunch area and we followed... More

These tents are on semi-permanent raised (shoulder-level) platforms and very comfortably appointed, even in the bathroom. Reminds of Hollywood's cliched portrayal of an Arab sheik's tent, but with chairs, sofas, shelves and tables. Even featured a most-welcomed small cool water "plunge pool" on the porch to help you cool off (very effective). The common area is very comfortable, with an... More

This was our first safari- and our first of four stops. Elephant Bedroom Camp was really great! The tents and beds were so comfortable- the food was great and the staff was very attentive. David-the chef- was just perfect. Interested in us-our likes and eager for feedback. The location was beautiful and all four of us really enjoyed our stay.... More

This lovely tented camp demonstrates that sustainable tourism can be profitable while respecting the wildlife that call this area home. The tents were beautifully decorated, staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The wild resident elephants roam the property freely and the guests have to adjust to accomodate them. The camp takes guest safety very seriously... More

My first time to Africa on safari, and this was my favorite of the 7 places we stayed. Sweet and smiling staff, fantastic food, totally rad tents, woolly wildlife, verdant views. And when a wild bull walks past and baboons play in the trees in front of your deck - there's nothing better. Would definitely stay here for days.

Go out of your way to stay at this camp! It is a jewel set in the stark surroundings of Samburu National Reserve. The tents are lovely with plenty of space and each tent boasts a plunge pool set in the veranda. In the heat of the afternoon, cool off in your pool and watch the elephants stroll past. We... More

I cannot fault Elephant Bedroom. I went on my own in May for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. Elephant Camp is just amazing. The luxury tented accommodation is raised up on stilts (useful when Mungati the resident bull elephant came wandering past my tent one morning and I had to duck underneath to avoid him!). It is... Although one of the main selling points of Elephant Bedroom Camp is the passage of pachyderms past the tents, and that is indeed amazing, there is so much more than this to the camp. From a warm greeting with a cold drink as you arrive to a superb dining experience (excellent food, great service and an incredible setting) to comfortable... More
