The Amboseli Sopa lodge is about 30-45 minutes driving distance from the park entrance. The property is beautifully landscaped with a pond running through. The dining room has a wall of windows that look out at Mt.Kilimanjaro. This was my favorite lodge during the safari, very spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom, lovely layout of the hotel, beautiful view of the mount kilimanjaro. Masai were very nice, food also great. The hotel is outside the park gates, about 30min by car. Like other sopa lodges, doesn't have any fence, but i felt save during the whole safari. more
