The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro was breathtaking. The lodge is also located in a very Serene environment. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful vacation.

The lodge occupies quite a large piece of land, bungalow designed rooms are surrounded by the trees and flowers. There are many monkeys hiding in the lodge, but don't worry they are cute and harmless, I once saw a monkey was lying on the neighbor’s window and peeking throught the window, don’t know what he was looking at. The backyard... More

The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro is superb from the grounds. The lodge is technically outside the boundaries of Amboseli Park so we could off road early morning to get a clear view and game drive. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The grounds are absolutely lovely with mature plantings. The Maasai guards are in Maasai regalia and amenable... More

This lodge is incredible! the views you get of Kilimanjaro are amazing. The room we stayed in was right at the end of the lot so a long walk but it was very quiet and peaceful and we saw lots of wild life. the shower had a massing window in it and the baboon used to sit in front of... More

Of the three lodges we visited, this one was really bad! Most Sopa lodges are noisy but this was the worst. The mosquito netting was terrible. This combined for a terrible nights sleep. Additionally, the lodge is far outside the park costing valuable animal watching time. The keys don't work well. The power goes off at night so you can't... More

We had a huge room with 2 queen size beds. There is a massive amount of space and the bathroom is spacious and well equipped. Beds are very comfortable but they use a mosquito net hanging from the ceiling which means that you can't easily access the bedside tables. Complimentary water is supplied daily. The main problem is that there... More

This hotel has nice grounds. However the bathroom is greatly in need of remodeling, very basic and just about motel standard and there was no hotwater even though we tried to shower within specified time. There was no wifi, even at the lobby, we were told it wasn't working. We were told we could use their computer at outrageous prices... More

Just returned from our africa trip, and this was one of the first places we stayed at. we found the stay to be pleasant. nice big and clean room. comes with mosquito net around the bed which u should definitely spray before going to bed. food was decent, nothing to write home about, but also nothing to complain about either.... We were just completing our 3rd week n Africa and a let down was probably in order. However, this wasn't just a let down, this was a real descent off a cliff. Let me first state that the lodge appears to cater to groups that have made this the first stop on an economy tour. Amboseli park is one of... More

The view of Mt Kilimanjaro is all this place has going for it! Thankfully it was one if our first stops during our 2 week safari because it was the second worst! Staff was cold and distant. Food was bad, service was worse! Restaurant staff chose where we would sit the first day (but restaurant was empty) an then stuck... More
