We spent 12 days on safari and stayed in various lodges, but this one was by far our favourite. The staff was extremely nice and chatty. Food was restaurant quality with set menus offered for lunch and dinner. There was plenty of options for breakfast, so even fussy eaters would find something nice for themselves. The lunch box was also... More

Stayed here for two nights. Beautiful location with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro - early in the morning before the clouds come down! Lovely (but cold) swimming pool. Very friendly staff, comfortable lodges, good food. Had two fantastic game drives and saw so much wildlife. Our first time in Kenya and it was a fantastic introduction, Power and hot water... More

We loved this lodge! After staying in 2 other different lodges this was probably our favourite of the 3. We stayed 2 nights. The rooms- quaint 'Masai' mud hut style lodges! So cute. Mosquito nets. Veranda area. Safe. Shower bathroom. Candles for when the lights go out. Torch provided. Mosquito spray. Electric / hot water - morning and evening for... More

We were there past 3 day's. Beautiful place, cozy room's. I just loved the staff so awesome, after 10 pm there is no hot water but they made sure we got it. I didn't like 2 things first is the food though it's tasty it was the same meat , be it red or white ,potatoes veg & rice. Same... More

This lodge could be so lovely, but waiting till 6:30pm to switch your lights on or plug in your phone is a bit basic. I have been to many other lodges who are Eco friendly but use solar power for the basics. Coming back from a long game drive I want to be sure I can have a hot shower... More

Of the 3 Sopa lodges we stayed in, this was by far my favourite. Spacious room, loved the grounds and the vervets were entertaining without being threatening! Good buffet the evening we arrived and good set menus too. Excellent staff, no exceptions. We were lucky to see Kilimanjaro too as most of the time she was covered by cloud. They... More

Was here on the 2nd of May. Had a lovely time with friends. The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro was spectacular. Our day days were fun filled. Can't wait for another visit. This having been my second visit, I liked it more than the previous(or then again it would have been the company). But non the less would recommend it for... More

Never again will I consider staying in this lodge again. After staying at Sopa Lodge in Naivasha, my expectations were probably too high for the stay at Sopa Lodge in Amboseli. - Food was disgusting, breakfast choices were limited, lunch was for puppies, and dinner was atrocious. - No electricity for over 9 hours each day. - No internet connection.... Luckily for us we had 3clear days with Kili showing itself in its full glory. Breakfast and lunch with this magnificent view was awesome. The staff were eager to make our stay memorable and nothing was to much trouble. Rooms were excellent. Location, ambience, staff made this a great experience for our group of 8. Nothing pretentious or overbearing here....made... More

A very pleasant place to stay. Staff was very welcoming, and the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The buffet was well above average, with great selection and well stocked, and the dining hall was comfortable, if a bit loud.
