Just returned from our 2nd visit to Tawi - it's a place that requires a comeback! The cabins are large and comfortable with full bathtubs / double sinks/ a great shower (where else can you watch Kilimanjaro while you shower?) .. we were in Cabin 9 which overlooks the trail to the waterhole. Tawi has had considerable rain this year... More

We spent 3 nights in February of 2016. The lodge was perfect. Quiet and boutique to begin with, in the off season we often felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Despite that, all the employees were present to constantly make our experience better. Our lodgings were spacious with a phenomenal view of Kili, the meals were as... More

The Villas are lovely, with a very distinguish decoration. The food was much more than I expected in the middle of nowhere, high european standards. The staff makes you feel welcome all the time. Hard to get there by car, so if you can afford it go by plane, of course you will miss the real Africa but your back... More

Our first stop on our safari tour was to stay at Tawi Lodge. Our luxury tented cabin was just that luxurious. A King size bed, double sinks, tub, shower, patio overlooking a watering hole. The small staff were eager to meet our every need. Coffee and Tea wake up calls. Cocktails and wine happy hour, excellent dinners.Lunches were set, dinner... More

We recently visited Amboseli National Park with the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro and loved it. The highlight was the place we stayed at, Tawi Lodge, located just outside the main park on a private conservancy, The lodge is quaint and charming. The cottages or bandas as they are called are superbly designed and one has the feeing of simple... More

We stayed in Tawi Lodge 3 nights. It's a wonderful address. It is located a bit outside the park in a very nice area facing the Kilimandjaro. The room are located in small individual villas very nicely furbished with a large comfortable bathroom. The garden is a paradise with a pool just in front of a pond where elephants, girafes,... A great place to relax and just spend staring at Mt Kilimanjaro or all the wildlife that comes right up to the lodge's watering hole. One night 25 elephants visited which was such a great sight. The food it truly special, very tasteful and original. The onion soup was the best I have had. The manager is passionate about making... More

Our time at Tawi Lodge was truly wonderful, the lodge is quite unique in many ways. The location with Kilimanjaro view is breathtaking but the lodge itself is a great place too. With a natural waterhole literally at a stones throw from the lodge area, we saw giraffes, elephants, zebra's, impala's, warthogs and many other animals without even having to... More

We started our safari adventure at Tawi Lodge, we were made very welcome by all the staff, the accommodation was really comfortable, outlook amazing, especially when the clouds lifted to show Mount Kilimanjaro. Brilliant to watch the elephants while eating our breakfast.

Excellent place, excellent service and: - amazing view from the windows of your house/tent on Kilimanjaro - animals close to you: during my stay I had a chance to eat dinner next to elephants. It is great adventure to be here. I highly recommend this place.
