I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sentrim Amboseli. Located inside the Amboseli National Park this camp is the perfect base for exploring the park. The safari tents are upmarket and well appointed, the lace curtains covering the green canvas gave an exotic feel to the tents. The water was always hot which is a bonus. The grounds are well... The place is beautiful, rooms are lovely, food was good, but the only down side was one staff member. Who spoke in Swahili and said I have a lot of, "Upuzi". Little did he know that I am a Kenyan and understood that he just told his co-workers that, 'I'm full of foolishness/nonsense". I was insulted just because I demanded... More

The tented accommodation is the best we have stayed in - comfortable, quiet, secure and with a great ensuite. The meals are generous but not the tastiest. However, the service is excellent, the swimming pool large and the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro extraordinary. Tips: Aim to arrive well before sun down as it can be tricky to find. Being remote,... great food, service and really friendly staff. i love the tents, felt like i was in 'out of Africa'. they have the local masai people come over and dance around the bonfire every night. Wow. really dedicated chef. i'd say get a tent along the outer permiter near the property fence. quite a hike away but i had a view... More

Situated just about one kilometre outside the gate of Amboseli National Park. Tented camp with a wonderful view over Mt. Kilimanjaro when its clear. Sentrim has got a swimming pool and the lodge area is lovely. Sentrim is good value for money. You can't really call it a budget alternative since budget alternatives don't exist so close to the National... More

Sentrim Amboseli located on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro not only provides a photogenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro but it's location is in the vicinity of the traditional Elephant migratory route to Tsavo Area. The staff were Welcoming, the food was sumptuous fit for a King and to top it up a clean self contained tents with all the necessary... More

Sentrim Amboseli is a tented camp with large tents on concrete bases and with built-in bathroom. There is a pool for those who want a dip and free Wifi in the reception when power is on. One of the secrets of this place that few are aware of or discover is that it has its own viewpoint with a great... More

The staff welcomed us with music and singing. There was a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The large tents were comfortable with plenty of hot water. Our tent was past a large well done herb garden. The food was plentiful and delicious, especially the soups. A group of Masai entertained one evening around the fire pit. The lodge was close to... More

How great to look out your back door and see Mt. Kilimanjaro! A beautiful setting. The tent cabins are comfortable and hot water plentiful. The quality of the food was very good with many choices. The pool looked nice, but we did not have time to enjoy it because we were on the road to see animals and birds. Good... More

Everything fantastic about Sentrim. I came to Africa with the Africa Yoga Project. We stayed at Sentrim while volunteering in a Massai village about 40 minutes away where we taught Yoga and renovated a small school. We spent a week at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were buffet, hot delicious. They packed us lunches to go for our work out... More
