The location of this hotel is perfect, it is located on the way to the Chimbulak mountain resort, one of the most developed and civilized montain resorts of Almaty, opening a close way to the beautiful Medeo, and further montain peaks. The hotel on itself is a fusion of western style hotel and an eastern inside, heavily decorated with false... More

Royal Tulip is one of the best hotel in Almaty. Rooms are very nice, big and the services are great. Unfortunately the stuff are not speaking english so well. The prices are a little bit expensive but the food is great. Definitely a place to be!

I was attracted by the evening photo and a good price offer in Booking.com. I found myself practically alone in a marble palace with cavernous halls and huge bedroom, but an almost total absence of human warmth (unlike for example similar establishments in India). Perhaps I was unlucky in being there at the tail end of a national holiday. The... More

It was Family visit during winter holidays and Hotel and facilities was amazing. I like it. Staff was great, reception, restaurant waiters in lobby bar bar attendants was absolutely great. Location is nice as well. It is not city center, thats why not noisy at all. Very close to ski places. And city as well. If I will return back... More

This hotel is in a nice setting. It also has a nice pool and spa. But even the cheap menu items are outrageously expensive. And this is in a country where hotels are already insanely expensive, especially for a former Soviet backwater city that claims it wants to develop its tourism industry. The cheapest beer they had was a Line... More

I took the trip for a three days business trip beginning of June. The hotel is situated in a very nice setting just opposite to the mountains where you can see from the balconies as well in a very quite area of Almaty. The staff at the reception spoke good English and were very welcoming . The hotel is just... More

I always book this hotel for my guest and business partners. Hotel Advantages: - Free street parking with easy access - Great food selection during the breakfast - Huge rooms with comfortable beds... More

What you immediately notice about this hotel is its SIZE. Everything seems to be XXL in a Las Vegas kind of way and just as pompous, if not more. I had previously stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Almaty, which is glamorous in a less OTT way. Tastes vary and perhaps guests from different parts of the world might find... More

The hotel does not have any negative points. It is great in every point. Starting form the exterior, and finishing by the service inside. I am really impressed. The location, staff, food, rooms, pool and spa all were great, Near the hotel was a very good restaurant Alasha where the foo was very tasty, and they had something like local... More

I had a good experience with this hotel! It's a palace in mountains. It tooks approx. 15-20 to get to Medeu (local resort place) and Chimbulak (where you can ski). The best place in Almaty for rest. Kind and well-appointed staff. Good service.
