breakfast was fairly typical for the area but the room was quiet and when it got too hot, I could open a window. the internet was spotty and didn't work at all in the evening but all my emails had downloaded by morning. Staff spoke English at the front desk and were friendly.

Clean, comfortable, friendly service. Liked their pillow menu and soft beds. Minuses: - fitness center/pool operating hours (8 am - 10 pm) - early packed breakfast is a joke - a sandwich smothered in mayo, an apple and some cookies. Tea or instant coffee only - pay extra for normal coffee. Juice was offered only after a request

This is a good clean hotel that is located within easy walking distance of the city centre and the main shopping area. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an option of different pillow types, which is a pity more hotels don't offer. This will be my first choice on returning to Almaty.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a group tour. Rooms were comfortable, wifi worked well and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff very helpful and friendly. Quiet neighborhood made it a very comfortable stay.

Good location just off Gogol street in quiet area near to Abylay Khan street, Zhinek Zholy pedestrianized area and close to restaurants, banks, etc. Simple but clean lobby with some seating for a drink from the adjacent "lobby bar", but nothing fancy. Narrow corridors leading to/from lobby. Room was smallish with 2 single beds, but very well equipped with very... More

I stayed here 2 nights. The people at check in couldn't have been more helpful. Small comfortable room with even smaller bathroom. When I sat on the bed, the mattress sagged so much, my butt almost touched the floor. The front desk and maintenance people immediately brought a new mattress. All things worked, room was cleaned daily, maid replenished toilet... More

This hotel is clean, all services work and the place is good with no traffic noise. Breakfast was good with omelettes made by order. I arrived too early and extended my stay with one night, and all was arranged well without need to change the room. Thanks to the reception personal, you all were always helpful.

Only stayed here for a few nights and it was fine for that reason. Location is not bad as you can walk to several nice bars and restaurants from here. Did not have dinner in the hotel so I don't know what the food was like. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful in particular the receptionist. Breakfast was very... More

The hotel isn't much to look at from outside (Soviet style architecture) but it is in a nice part of the city and the rooms were clean, beds comfortable, wifi dependable and the breakfast was plentiful with a varied selection of items. You can't ask for much more than that.
