We arrived in late from our flight to Almaty but we were served a delightful meal with delightful service and a willingness to understand our preferences and our English. The front desk staff were obliging about charging my phone, providing a box breakfast due to a very early departure and checking our flight departure time. The bed was super comfortable... More

I booked this hotel forgetting that I had stayed there several years ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see the improvement in both room quality, restaurant and staff behaviour. I will be happy to come back - I did not say that last time.

After moving to Kazzhol from another hotel in Almaty (see my previous review), this place was of such a hufe difference! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and polIte. We're pleasanty surprised to find a crib for our infant waiting for us upon checking-in to the room. While my wife was at her meetings... More

Kazzhol seems like an old Soviet hotel refurbished for the modern times. It is clean, centrally located, its staff is friendly and speaks English sufficiently. The standard rooms are in a very good condition, with rather modern /fresh design.

The hotel offered good facilities and was very comfortable. We were greeted with a glass of orange juice which was very welcome. The rooms were all air conditioned although it was broken when we arrived it was quickly fixed by the very polite hotel maintenance crew. The rooms were clean and well appointed, the complementary wash products were really nice.... More

Following two overnight flights from Los Angeles, via Istanbul with a five am arrival into Almaty, I was ready to collapse. Check-in procedures were seamlessly completed; ushered with luggage, to a beautiful room. Bed was large and sleep blissful. Modern room, very secure and safe, loaded with amenities; clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet (coffee was a little weak). Front... More

I had one of the bigger suites I think - it had two separate rooms. It was on a discounted rate of Euro 115 as we had a conference there. But it's not worth more than that in my view. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The service was fine as was the breakfast and room service - and... More

I visited Almaty for business purposes and one of my colleagues suggested this hotel. The location is fine and the place is quiet, being in a yard of a citizen are, luckily not on the main road with heavy traffic. The neighbouring house is a hotel as well. Therefore, you have a nice choice of restaurants and there are many... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days 3 nights in room 220. Our room has 2 double beds which can accomodate 4 adults. Beds are soft and pillows are firm which are good support for our necks. Therefore we had good night sleep. Rooms are fully carpert and nice to walk on. Room space are huge. Room is clean,... More

Rooms are tiny, typical of former soviet union hotels. We had a suite, which was very expensive for what you get in hindsight ($230), which consisted of 3 small rooms all the same size, a bedroom which had barely the space for a double bed, a sitting room and a bathroom. Interestingly the bathroom was the same size of the... More
