The location and the hotel is very quiet so a good sleep is guaranteed. The guest room is equipped with all the small necessities but may find it smaller than expected. Personally, the guest room lacked "central" room light so the impression of the room was dark. Brekky was minimal; wanted more variety with the brekky buffet. (Thus, could be... More

Sending two nights here great joint value for money. We are near Sendai town where the arcade malls are, barely ten minute walk. Lots of shops and restaurant all over. There is a 711 nearby2 minutes away, fully stocked. Ppl r friendly helpful, they could not tell me where I could go for a few after dinner with my friends.... More

The bed is just that bit softer than is the norm for japan - weary western travellers will appreciate this. Wifi in our room was s l o w as, even tho the wifi machine was located in the room! Brekky was ok, but not the quality seen in some hotels. Service was good, the hotel is close to the... More

Thanks for good stay. The location is close to stores. Front desk delivered great customer service. The wireless worked fine. This Holiday Inn is consistent with all IHG properties. Really appreciate the nice service.

Stayed for 2 nights for profession meeting at the Sendai International Center. Price is cheaper but there is no wirless internet in the room so you have to get the wireless in the lobby or the second floor at best. That is really not acceptable if you are here for a business meeting. Location is close enough to the Sendai... More

The hotel is clean and functional. It is close to Sendai station and the shopping area. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, offering a variety of western and Asian food. There is a grocery store about a block away where you can buy staple items to put in the in-room refrigerator. The room is slightly bigger than some of the... More

‘Holiday Inns’ are mostly all the same; that is both their strength and their weakness. Be you in Sydney or Slough, Singapore or Sendai, once inside you could be anywhere. This one, located about half-a-mile from Sendai’s main railway station but outside the town centre, does have one defining feature; the inflexibility and unhelpfulness of the front desk staff. Their... More

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station, which is convenient. It is functional and clean, and the staff are friendly. However, it lacks any kind of atmosphere or character. The price is quite reasonable though.

The Holiday Inn in Sendai was a nice surprise. When I was looking for a place to crash for one night in Sendai, I was a bit unsure because it seemed so reasonably priced, unusual for Japan. We were pleased to see how new and clean the entire place was, and it was an easy walk from the train station... More
