The hotel is clean and functional. It is close to Sendai station and the shopping area. The breakfast buffet is pretty good, offering a variety of western and Asian food. There is a grocery store about a block away where you can buy staple items to put in the in-room refrigerator. The room is slightly bigger than some of the... More

‘Holiday Inns’ are mostly all the same; that is both their strength and their weakness. Be you in Sydney or Slough, Singapore or Sendai, once inside you could be anywhere. This one, located about half-a-mile from Sendai’s main railway station but outside the town centre, does have one defining feature; the inflexibility and unhelpfulness of the front desk staff. Their... More

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station, which is convenient. It is functional and clean, and the staff are friendly. However, it lacks any kind of atmosphere or character. The price is quite reasonable though.

The Holiday Inn in Sendai was a nice surprise. When I was looking for a place to crash for one night in Sendai, I was a bit unsure because it seemed so reasonably priced, unusual for Japan. We were pleased to see how new and clean the entire place was, and it was an easy walk from the train station... More

The hotel is just six minute away from the sendai station but it is not in the miidle of business or shopping district. There aren't any department store or large shop around there. I stayed here for only one night. In my enitre trip, the hotel room here have the smallest area but also the cheapest one. The staffs were... More

I think this hotel is newly built 'cuz it is very new and clean. It is also big for Japan standard. The staff is polite (as with all Japanese hotel). Buffet breakfast in the morning was ok, not enough selection. The con is this hotel is not very convenient located. I stayed as part of a tour so it's ok... More

This was the 2nd Holiday Inn we stayed at and it was quite nice. It was around the corner from a coin laundry, 7/11s and the train station with the Yodobashi camera store. Our room was quite nice, we got vouchers for dinner and breakfast because of priority club and breakfast was ok, for Y1200 each for a buffet. Our... More

This hotel was close to the station and was a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Staff were great, rooms spotless and quite large (especially the bathroom) for Japanese standard.

The hotel was clean and well located within a 10 min walk of the train station which provides good access to the metro and the bus system, as well as to the major shopping areas in downtown Sendai. The rooms are small based on US standards, but large compared to most in Japan/Europe. The beds were overly firm for our... More

Stayed 2 nights during my visit to Sendai. Booked on the internet. It's nicer than the typical Holiday Inn in the States. Rooms are not huge but I spent my day sightseeing and just needed a place to sleep mostly. The room was very clean, typical for Japanese standards. I was given a coupon for breakfast and it was good.... More
