Dissappointing, convenient location to Morioka station, but it appears there is not a single hotel employee who speaks two words of English - the WiFi was always either down or flickering on and off - and none of the staff seemed to have a clue of how to fix it - service was poor, rooms okay, but. It coming back

This hotel was wonderful - It was roomy and spacious by Japanese standards, even having a sofa in the room. We had a view out the window of the Shinkansens going past, which hubby thought was pretty neat! The hotel is also connected to a shopping mall and the station which is fantastic when you're traveling and you also want... More

This hotel is very comfortable with good view of the hills & surrounds if you get the right room. It's is also very conveniently located near the train station & other forms of public transport. Good array of restaurants under the many shops attached to the hotel.

Komban-wa Tomodachi, My wife and I stayed at your wonderful hotel New Wing in mid-April. I became sick and we had to return to the states a week early. Your people were super and made the stay very special. I was the old guy you pushed me around in a wheel chair. I wish I could recall the names of... More

The Metropolitan in Morioka is ideal for the business traveller: only minutes away from the Shinkanzen, with plenty of good (and very good) restaurants in the immediate vicinity, with all the amenities that one needs for a night's stop-over, it's the ideal traveller's hotel. Efficient management, clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast (Japanese and Western) -- a very good place... More

The location again is the best right next to station and the shopping is easy. The markets are also very close by so a very convenient location. But in the hotel, single rooms are too small though fitted with all amenities. Ok for a night stay. The staff is helpful and polite. The breakfast buffet is also nothing special. For... More

We stopped here on the way north. I had booked it over the Internet. The only minor dificulty I had was finding it. The "oold" wing is located right next to the train station (there are even signs that direct you there). So I asked at the desk and found the new wing just a block and a half away.... More
