This hotel is one of the most usable hotels in Morioka. Located about 100 or 150 meters from the Shinkansen Morioka Station. So, in the urban area of Morioka City, this might be the first choice for your business or sightseeing. As a matter of fact, I sometimes stay at an international luxury hotel to improve my business performance. This... More

Staying in Morioka you have quite speak choice off business hotels around the station. The Metropolitan Hotel office superior room quality and decent room decoration. The room spacious, clean you don't miss anything. The price with about €70 excluding breakfast is very reasonable for the location and the room standard. The negative point of this hotel is that you don't... More

The location is right next to Morioka station and is close to the city center. The rooms are clean but the "single room" is very small. No room to even open your suitcase on the floor. Great for a short stay but if you will spend a long time relaxing in your room better to get a bigger room.

The hotel room is very very clean. Although a bit small, room is adequate and very comfortable. The bath room is also very clean. I didnt have any problem during my stay. Stayed here just for a night but it was great and relaxing.

Only stayed for one night back in May 2014, but the property is really nice and good value. Right next to the train station and near of everything else. There might not be that much to see in Morioka, but there are some nice views and everybody should try Wanko Soba! There's actually a place just in front of the... More

My Japanese wife and I wanted to get some Japanese photos wedding photos taken as we were married in Canada. I have stayed at the Hotel Metropolitan Morioka New Wing hotel before some I inquired with them about getting some wedding photos taken. Most of the conversations were between my wife and the hotel staff as she knew more about... More

We arrived in Morioka thoroughly exhausted after travelling for 36 hours. It was a relief to find ourselves in such a comfortable hotel with a surprisingly spacious room. After leaving Morioka we went to other cities in Japan and this was the most spacious room we had. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had one good dinner and one... More

This is a very nice hotel in Morioka. Very close to the JR station (5 minute walk). Rooms are spacious for Japan and well equipped. The staff is also nice as usual in Japan. Good breakfast, with Japanese and Western food. A selection of local items in the lobby is interesting too. We had an extraordinary Japanese dinner in one... More

It was my second stay in this hotel. Both times it was business-related. The hotel is conveniently located just two minutes walk from the train station. All staff have been very friendly and helpful. Rooms are not very large, which is quite common for Japan but clean. Breakfast is quite nice although not the first class. Overall I think it's... More

The hotel is rather pleasant with a nice homey feeling. Staff was very polite. Room was clean with all usual essentials. Good value for money too. The place is walking distance from the train station. It has good conference and reception facilities (had a tour as we plan a conference in Morioka city).
