The hotel is 15mins walking distance frm aomori station. There are few convenience shops along the way. Reception is at level 3. Check in process is super fast. Staffs are polite and friendly. Room is decent. U get what u paid. Better than what I expected. Toiletries are provided. Enough space for us to open out two big luggage. :)... More

Stayed 1 night A little far from the train station. Good size rooms all be it a little dated. Good price and wifi included. A wifi hotspot is given to you at the front desk. Staff had good English. Aircon was not good but has a large window. Would not recommend for mid summer. Google maps will take you around... More

This is a small hotel located about 1.5kms from the Aomori train station. Good location & walking distance to the port area, gardens (cherry blossoms) and the fish markets (the fish markets for breakfast are a must do). The rooms are a good size and the wifi is fast. The bathroom is one of those small, modular types that you... More

Stayed here for 10 days with clear intention to scout out all corners of Aomori. Art Hotel is strategically located near the station and many other locations, like the fish market, A building, A factory, Wa Rasse Nebuta House (red building) and most important the bus station, since in Aomori you are totally depended on the bus if you don't... Stayed on 27 Oct and reach Aomori really late due to train delay and had to figure direction from the map I had which was manageable. I would have to say the space in the photo can be not so accurately in term of walkway for luggage space. However, I can open my medium size luggage (bigger than the typical... More

Stayed for a night in May 2014, it's smack in the middle of Aomori. Our room was absolutely massive, actually checked on the plan, it was by far the biggest room on the floor (one of the higher floors, think it was called the Color Floor). No idea why our room was that big, but we actually had a couch... More

The room you stayed was “Superior double”. It is on the color floor, as you mentioned, and is the largest room in our hotel. We upgraded you to the “Superior double” because the room you had originally reserved was overbooked. We are glad that you liked the room. As for the English speaking staff, there are a couple of staffs... More

Very good price for single room. Everything is correct. The hallways stink but the room smell fine. Clearly not as colorfull as the hotel suggest it. Breakfast had choices between wester and japanese food. The breakfast is average.

We apologize for the uncomfortable smell in the hallway. The smell was from a break on trap attached on the drain pipe, which has already been fixed. Our hotel has a floor named “Color Floor” which is 8th floor. At that floor, each room has its own theme color in addition to basic white. The other floors, called “Standard Floor”... More

The room I got was actually cheaper than a capsule hotel. What else I could ask for? Room is dated, but it's generally clean. I had a good sleep. Located at the main street in Aomori, lots of good and cheap food around. Walkable to many attractions in Aomori city.

Thank you very much for staying with us. As you say, our hotel is not a new hotel. Actually it is constructed almost 40 years ago. So we regularly renovate our rooms and have the rooms always neat and clean, with setting the room rate reasonable. We are glad that you had a good sleep. Our hotel is located on... More

We booked the Aomori Plaza primarily because a reservation was available online, and it was close to the JR train station. It was indeed fairly close, 5 blocks down the Shin-Machi, in the middle of the shopping district. Note that reception is on the 3rd floor, not the 2nd - if you don't read kanji, you may be confused by... More
