Having stayed in many Akita hotels over the years we found this to be an excellent hotel, close to JR rail station. Good size rooms for a business hotel in Japan, excellent Japanese breakfast buffet, with also a nod to Western tastes with eggs, scrambled or boiled and sausages etc. The bedroom had good hard mattresses and the rooms seemed... My husband and I loved this hotel because of the hospitality and cleanliness. We enjoyed a variety of personal care souvenirs and teas and stayed at the same hotel also in Narita, where the rooms were a bit smaller. We also enjoyed borrowing umbrellas to go downtown in Akita, whenever there was rain. Breakfast was also very varied at the... More

Convenient to the station, we stayed in a standard sized room in an atypical business hotel. The decor is modern, a class above most hotels in this genera. The staff were very helpful; some had above average English skills, better than many native speakers. The restaurant was superb with a selection of Japanese fare. The restaurant staff did not have... there are closer hotels to the station but this one was not far. Walk up through the central undercover shopping district is best. Clean tidy rooms, friendly staff, much like any business hotel anywhere in the world. Go see the gardens especially in April and May.

The single room I stayed is big enough for me to stay. Staff are very polite. Japanese restaurant attached to the hotel is worth eating in lunch time. Bad Wifi connection at my room is as usual in Richmond hotels.

The hotel is around 10 minutes of walking from the JR station, easy to locate, and is close to the wet market where you can find a few restaurants, and convenient store. At night, it was comfortable to walk from the hotel to the area near the art museum and the Central Park. When I arrived, I was given a... More

An amazing find - inexpensive, clean, reasonably large rooms, on-site valet parking, coin laundry, close to railway station and restaurants, free Wi-Fi, easy to get-to, staff really friendly and most speak English (sumimasen - nihongo ga hanasemasen!). Need I go on??

It's a simple business hotel. With good location, clean rooms, it's enough for staying. Breakfast in the hotel's restaurant is convenient, but it's just a Japanese buffet. 1000 yen is bit expensive for it.

This hotel was the perfect choice for a few nights in Akita. The room was as expected in terms of size so we weren't surprised. In fact, it was a little bigger than we anticipated. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the location couldn't be beat, and the breakfast was good. It was easy to get around from... More

We enjoyed this hotel. It is about 10min walk from the station and it's very smart for the price. The customer service was excellent. You get offered cosmetics for adults and toys for children when checking in which kept our kids happy. The only funky thing is the payment. After checking in you have to pay at a vending machine...
