We had a lovely room (with the usual squeezy bathroom) and enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff spoke very little English but went out of their way to communicate with friendly good humour using their limited English and our very poor Japanese. It was a little far from the station, especially at night in the snow.
