Clean, nice and central. Pillow is Japanes (hard and not comfy (for a western). Breakfast ok - and more western than many other Japanese hotels. Staff friendly and helpfull. Near a little nice park which is good for run. Also good for a walk. Near good restaurants.

The buffet breakfast was delicious but a bit pricy. It has a great assortment of options from traditional to western and the staff was very nice. The location is also great as it is in the middle of downtown.

Hotel is modern compared to many Hotels I stayed in on Shikoku. Very central location and walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The room was small but clean & adequate for a good nights sleep.

The rooms are slightly bigger than the usual business hotels in Japan and actually had a place to sit and relax which was a bonus. The staff were freindly and as helpful as they could be, although there were only a few English speaking staff. The location is perfect - near malls and shopping stalls; various dining spots. Buffet breakfast... More

Hotel Clement is in the center of Tokushima, very close to the bus stations that connect with Kobe, Osaka, and Kansai Airport. Hotel is newly redone, with rooms and main restaurant upgraded. Rooms are clean, somewhat larger than many other business hotels in outlying Japanese cities, and even has a chest with a few storage drawers. Buffet breakfast selections are... More

The hotel is right in the centre of the shopping district, has its own shopping mall and is part of the Tokushima Station Complex. The rooms are slightly bigger than the usual business hotels in Japan and actually had a place to sit and relax which was a bonus. From other reviews it appears that the hotel has had a... More

My first time to visit Tokushima this week, and it was a very comfortable stay partly due to the experience provided by Hotel Clement. The room is bigger than most hotels in big cities like Tokyo or Nagoya. Small details like truly clean toilet and bath, carpet and drapes are immediately noticed by any traveller. High speed internet is available... More

Not a recommended hotel. Oldish, tiny rooms without wi-fi, and decrepit furniture. Not even particularly clean, which is surprising in Japan. Next door to the bus depot, which is a positive if you're travelling in this manner. The buffet is passable, but not special (although in fairness, not especially expensive either). Restaurants and nightlife are mostly on the other side... More

Stay here occasionally for one or two nights as business traveller. Tokushima does not have many hotels to chose from, and the Clement is a good choice, but not more than average. LOCATION: very centrally located, next to the train station, lots of restaurants in walking distance. SERVICE/STAFF: very friendly and helpful, decent to good English language skills (my Japanese... Rooms need upgrading but are comfortable for a provincial hotel
