Takamatsu is a sleepy little town but a good stepping stone to see the fabulous artworks at Naoshima Island. There is also a beautiful Japanese garden in Takamatsu and in summer some enjoyable evening activities down by the water. This hotel is very central and reasonably comfortable. Excellent Izakaya called Susume opposite. (note to non Japanese spacers there is no... More

We arrived early and able to leave our luggage which on checking in had been left in our room. The bedroom was very clean and bed was comfortable. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and the Owner/Manager very kindly took us in his car to a restaurant where we had a very nice meal. This hotel is close to the... More

We had a clean, well equipped, reasonable sized (by Japan standards) room. The hotel was well located and easy to find. The price was pretty good too. The staff gave us extensive advice on the local area and when we asked for a restaurant recommendation, a staff member drove us there at no charge. There's not a lot else to... More

Great value business hotel. Recommended for a short stay. The hotel is a very short walk from the Takamatsu station, just 200m from the station’s front door. I booked a standard single and it was the usual for a Japanese business hotel: compact but very functional. There are numerous room lighting options and a bed reading light with both bright... More

The tourist information center recommend me to stay there with a price of 6300 yen for 1 night. Although the location is convenient to walk to the JR takamatsu, I think the environment is very small with poor devices.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. The first time was in 2010 and I came back in 2013 for the Setouchi Triennale. It is not an expensive hotel and is a typical business hotel with good service. Well located for the Triennale as it is very close to the JR Takamatsu Station as well as the... More

I stayed here because I wanted to use Takamatsu as a base for visiting the art island of Naoshima, and it served that purpose well. I arrived early but the lady at the Tourist Info section of the railway station advised me not to store my luggage in a coin locker at the station; she suggested I take it to... More

The hotel from the outside looks very average and very japanese, i.e. business hotel. Very close to JR station and Kotoden line station, not far from the ferry port, it is a very convenient location. Rooms are small but correct in accordance with Japanese standard. More over, the staff deserves a warm congratulation being so kind and helpful, the lady-owner... More

I used this friendly family run hotel as a base for travelling in eastern Shikoku and found it perfect for what I needed, if not luxurious. It is a solid Japanese business hotel just steps from the train station and port. The rooms are snug but even the singles have a nice "double" bed. Also free LAN, a fridge and... More

Located just a walk from Takamatsu Station and another short walk to the port for ferries to the islands of Naoshima and Shodoshima, it is in a great location. A pleasant hotel with helpful staff and nice rooms, it was an unexpected pleasure in a whistle-stop trip we had through Takamatsu. Room size was good, clean, and reasonably priced at... More
