Have you ever heard about Meebai fish, not famous but ex-taste fish in japan, Same quality as Kue or Nodoguro. You should fish on at least one day, lucky man, you can eat them when your fisherman captain introduce you BYO restaurant. And sweat and smell finally ,never mind , this hotel bath and spa are so supreme your dirt... More

The ocean view rooms were really nice. In the beginning I was really confused to chose this hotel but I think we made a great choice. It certainly is a bit expensive but the location is great. It doesn't have a beach but just by the sea there is a concrete path on which you can walk and enjoy the... More

The rooms are beautiful, nice bathrooms, everything very spacious. We liked the game hall, the many sitting possibilities outside, pingpong, the onsen and the sauna (thought the one at the indoor pool was not hot enough). However, the breakfast buffet is not really up to Western standards. Not that I expect real bread in Japan, but scrambled eggs should not... More

I select the hotel because I like hot springs, unfortunately the hot water is lukewarm. I feel the hotel is baddest spring in Japan. Restrant food is not good taste. But hotel and food fee was expensive , 55000yen for two persons.

Ishigaki Resort Grandvrio Hotel (IRGH) offers many nice amenities: lovely grounds right on the coast, super helpful staff, and spacious rooms overlooking the sea. However, and as others have commented, the public baths are pretty tiny. Also, the beds really are hard -- how odd and unusual! The hotel's Okinawan cuisine restaurant served up a good, but not great, dinner.... More

The room is spacious with sea view. There is a loft can accommodate extra 2 pax. Free wifi in room. But the bed mattress is hard. The hotel has a public bath, but it is small. Try to avoid peak time to use it.

Booked through Japanican in November we were welcome by a friendly staff who speaks good English and German. Our fourth floor seaview twin room was large with plenty of storage and a nice bathroom with very good wifi but the mattress was very hard. Breakfast was Japanese and continental(quite good pastries),the correct Buffet lunch is very affordable, dinner was also quite tasty... More

Located in a remote corner of the island this hotel is not quite as grand as the website may suggest. Hard beds, a small outdoor pool, and restaurants that are closed as often as they are open could leave you feeling a little short changed. However the views/sunsets are spectacular, the food is great and the private karaoke rooms are... More

I love Japanese people and the hotel staff were really friendly but the beds were rock hard and although we had a balcony with sea view we had no furniture so couldn't sit out. The hotel says it has 3 restaurants but one of them is only for breakfasts so they have only 2. We arrived in the afternoon, didn't... More

Good experience staying here. The rooms and view were very good. The breakfast was good though the menu was very Japanese oriented. Although room was good, the bed was rock hard. This might be because this hotel gets a lot of senior folks and it seems like they like the beds this way. The hotel could be so much more... More
