This is right at the waterfront. We had a corner suite that has a commanding view of the bay. Very convenient location with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Just a bit pricey for the peak season though.

The hotel looked quite dated from the outside, but if you go inside, it's still quite clean. The rooms are ok. Get a Japanese type room if you're ok with sleeping on tatami mats, because the single bed for the Japanese-Western room is very very small! The breakfast buffet is so so, not good, but not bad. The room for... More

Although the hotel looked old fashion, basic and away from centre of activities, but there were many positives which made our stay a very enjoyable and memorable experience. We stayed in room 915 and 922, both of which gave us a spectacular view of the ocean. We left the curtains open, and were woken up by the unforgettable view of... More

I was booked in this hotel as part of a package tour, I was apprehensive about my stay here after reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised after my stay. The hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the Kitahama bus terminal and is right by the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful. We got a sea facing tatami... More

They say cleanliness is next to godliness, but with this place I'd have to say it's cleanliness is next to impossible. The room was dingy, with peeling paint, tattered wallpaper, cigarette burns on the furniture, and as it is a Japanese style room and you sleep on futons on the floor, I was worried that something would crawl out of... Right on the water, a 10 minute walk from the station, but very bare bones. Looks like it might have been nice in the 70's. FANTASTIC service, but the rooms were very bare, looks onto the water, but also looks onto a lot of pigeon poop. Onsens were pretty. We got bumped up to an ocean view room and dinner... More
