You can have a simply delightful time at the resort if you make the correct booking decisions. It can be confusing because while the staff speaks English and genuinely desires to provide great service, the language barrier is greater here than at some other Japanese hotels. This is an incredibly luxurious high-class hotel on the beautiful southeast coast of Kyushu. I stayed here for a week while attending a conference at the adjacent convention center. I believe the previous poster enjoyed his stay because he was a Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) Platinum member and the hotel "comped" him access to its nicer facilities (pool, onsen, lounge, etc.).
