We live in Kuma room, my kid was very happy when see many Kuma design products in the room, the Kuma file folders and postcards are the free gifts for customer. We can't park our car in the hotel parking because of oversize, the first night we park it in a carpark next to the hotel and cost $1100 yen,... More

This hotel is cheap and located near all the shopping venues in Kumamoto. takes about 4 tram stops to get there from train station. small and clean with lots of kumamon soft toys to play with. I booked via hotels.com for standard room without breakfast. however at the counter for jpy one thousand, I got a kumamon theme room plus... More

We stayed in Kuma Room. It is a twin room and decorated with a big Kuma bear doll, four bear cushions, bear cups, shower curtain. The hotel gave us bear files and postcards. The room size is normal. The breakfast is various and the staff keep the restaurant as clean as possible. Location is good, near tram stop and shopping... More

We stayed for two nights. The room was spacious for a business hotel. The hotel and room were clean. Everything from toothbrush to shampoo to slippers to tea were supplied by the hotel. So you can travel light. Not far from the trams A and B and the arcade/dining area. We came by Shinkansen whose station is only a few... More

Stayed four nights. Before the trip I contacted the hotel by mail and they responded within a day which is always a positive indication. Surprise when we arrived as the garage of this new hotel could not accomodate cars over 1,55m and we had to park at another garage which took some manouvering and made the car less accessible. Staff... More

The room were nicely clean basic needed for a sleep. The location of the hotel is in the walking distance from tram station, shopping street, and the castle entrance. The breakfast provide variety of food choices. There is a Kumamon theme room for the fan who wish to have him in bed with you.

We decided not to stay in a Kumamon bear themed room and instead had a standard twin. The room was a little dated and basic, however, it was more than adequate and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Japanese and Western items. Staff were friendly and helpful and nearby there is both a Family Mart and 7-11 store. We would... More

Within easy walking distance of the river on one side and the tram stop for the castle on the other. Clean comfortable room ( albeit small for a westerner and his wife ) with the added bonus of an extensive buffet breakfast. Helpful staff, too. Certainly to be recommended in its price range.

I stayed at this hotel because they have Kumamon room. Room is not expensive compare to other hotel with special theme room. Room was ok, but i felt hot during mid night and not sure air-cond working properly. Convenience location, close to major shopping area. Will stay again if i travel to Kumamoto again.
