This hotel is about a 10 min tram ride from the shinkansen station followed by a 2 minute walk, and is conveniently located within walking distance to the ferry ports, which is especially useful if you plan to visit Sakurajima or catch a jetfoil/ferry to Yakushima. Dolphin Port, which has loads of restaurants, is about a 10 min walk away... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel has a convenient location - 10 minutes from an airport shuttle drop-off point. It's also close to a tram station. Check-in staff was courteous and in general staff could speak simple English and we didn't encounter much communication problems. Like any other Japanese hotels, the room was small and it was easy... Standard small room in Japan. Located in a walking distance to Waterfront Park, many shop and restaurant. Easy to access by tram from Main train station and only a station away to Tenmonkan shopping area.

Good value hotel in a good location. We (couple) stayed one night on a public holiday in Golden week. Considering this the rates were very reasonable. Check in was smooth. Rooms were the typical small business/budget hotel type but I found the layout better than others I have stayed in and the bathroom had a nice design. The room was... More

1 of the smallest rooms ever stayed. Our double bed is squeezed between 2 walls. Nevertheless, place is clean and situated within walking distance to Kagoshima Water Front. Parking is about 50m away for those who drive. Breakfast is a choice of western or Japanese. Simple but delicious.

Standard fare from the business/traveller hotels you expect to find in Japanese cities. The staff are unflinchingly polite and helpful. Breakfast is a choice between Japanese and Western style - it’s average but not offensive. Smokers have an area in the lobby to indulge in their habit.

the hotel is a little bit away (<5 min walk) from the shopping area... but very accessible... i've got the room just oppsite to the lift... but it is still very quite... the configuration of the room makes it look big... it is not just a bed and a narrow corridor... but a small square sharp area which u can...
