The hotel is located just above the JR station which is very convenient for train travelers. For the room features provided, we consider the room rate is over priced but we may pay for the location. You cannot expect much but a standard business hotel with a small (normally in Japan) room which can give you a night of sleep.

We stayed here for three nights and love every aspect of it. We arrived on Shinkansen at Kagoshima Chuo Station and found the entrance to the hotel within 50m of the exit. What a nice surprise! The concierge staff is friendly (though they don't speak much English). The room is clean and nicely decorated. We are used to tiny hotel... More

I arrived at the Kagoshima station platform, took the escalator down to the main concourse, made a left turn and followed the signs in English to the entrance of the hotel, without ever going outside. The hotel is new, modern, convenient and comfortable. The room had a view of the city. The breakfast has an extensive buffet with juices, coffee... More

You won't regret picking this hotel as the location is most convenient in Kagoshima. As a visitor, you want food, transport, shopping, it's all here. Initially we booked a budget double room but found it more like a single room with no space for our luggages so we changed our booking to 4 single rooms instead since there are 4... More

This hotel is the best location, right next to the train station. The rooms are decent and clean. We got the room with breakfast. The breakfast was very basic. If you prefer more choices, there are lots of eating places within walking distance. We love the fact that this hotel is really convenient (location wise)!

Located right at the entrance to JR Shinkensen and local line inside the station. Literally 30mtrs from the ticket gates. 10 mtrs to restaurants. Try the Italian Seafood joint - fantastic. 5 mtrs to Seattle Coffee 25mtrs to Bic Camera 80 Mtrs to AMU plaza - the major shopping complex in Kagoshima. Basic new typical Japanese business style hotel. Decent... More

The JR hotel is ideally located adjacent to the Kagoshima Chuo train station - the entrance is both from the street behind station and inside the station. The rooms are fairly large and modern. the hotel is fairly quiet, you hear no trains from downstairs. The staff are friendly although their knowledge of English is rather limited. The breakfast is... Having stayed at nine or ten different hotels all over Japan this past month, this one stood out. The room was bigger, the furnishings more upscale, and the shower and toilet fixtures were the same as the ones in my apartment in Tokyo, making them several orders of magnitude better than what you typically get in a non-western hotel in... Stayed here for 2 weeks. The rooms are small but very comfortable and clean. The only downside is that the tv channels are all In Japanese. Apart from that, as of everything in Japan, everything in the hotel is in good condition. The bed is divine and internet cable is available in all the rooms. The bathroom however lack of... More
