Pros: The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are well-equipped, and the showers are hot and powerful. Wifi is free. Cons: Hotel is a bit loud. We heard doors slamming and guests chattering in the hallways all night. English is not widely spoken. I spoke to five staff members at the front desk, and only one of them could speak any... More

Room was very small. It was difficult for me to open my luggage and pack the thing. Great location. Near shopping area. There was a very sweet healthy tips tag with the bottle to explain how important for human to drink water in the morning. Very impressive.

Modern, very clean, and small. But for Japan was a good size. There were 3 beds in a small space, and a bathroom with a tub and shower mixed, which had a window looking into the room. It was not the best hotel in Japan we stayed in but not the worst either. It was very convenient for Kagoshima attractions.... More

We spent one night on a week-end at Remm while visiting southern Kyushu. The hotel is in walking distance from the JR station (around 15 minutes), in a very lively area. Shopping arcades and restaurants are basically around the corner. Getting to the ferries and the port is a 15-minute walk. The size of the room is small but standard... More

The hotel lobby is very stylish with posh couch and IPads for surfing the web etc. There is Tully’s coffee downstairs which is a plus as getting a descent coffee is still a challenge in Japan. The hotel is walking distance to main shopping/dining arcade area so it’s very convenient. The hotel faces the main street with the tram which... More

This hotel was a bit of a let down. We travelled all over Kyushu and to Okinawa and this was our worst hotel. On the plus side it was very well situated for Kagoshima station, getting to the ferries at the port and shopping arcades etc but the room was the smallest that we had ever stayed in. My husband... The hotel is located near the shopping and dining area Tenminkan, with lots of dining options. It is only a few tram stop away from the JR Kagoshima station, so it's easily accessible. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a hip style, yet trendy. Although the room is a bit small but to be fair, it's the average size... More

This hotel was the best deal we found in two weeks of travel around Japan. Perhaps it was on a special discount price when we stayed. Regardless, the hotel is stylish, sleek and very well-appointed. The rooms are small but have personal touches nonetheless. You get the impression of being in a boutique hotel. The location is central to the... More

The location of the hotel is good, near Tenmonkan, there is the cafe, Tully's on first floor. The room is not so big but clean and could see Sakurajima from bath room, but have to close your face to the window....!

We had a small double room and a larger twin room in this new boutique style hotel. The double room is really very small when you bring 2 suitcases in the room. But we managed. All facilities in the room are there, even safe, coffee making facilities, charging adapters for all types of mobile phones and a small fridge. It's... More
