Good: *) Location. Just 5 minutes by foot from main Railway Station (same place where bus is coming from Kumamoto etc) - just follow Hakata Ekimae street and see on the left. Close to big Canal City with park, restaurants, shops. *) Quiet hotel. *) The bed is VERY soft. Personally I doesn't like it at all. *) Bathtub is... More

The room was as expected, cheap, small, not very clean, with free wi-fi. We had a regular (small) double corner room which was quiet. The bed was OK, the linens clean. However, there were years worth of dust behind the TV (I had to reach there to connect the wi-fi unit) and in the air outlet of the air conditioning... More

This is a basic business man's hotel with typical small rooms and the worlds smallest bathrooms. But the price is right so why complain? You want a bigger room go stay at the Hilton at 5 times the cost. It's about about a 10 minute walk from the Hakata Train Station and a few minutes to Canal City. Take the... More

Court Hotel is an easy peasy walk from the Hakata JR Station where our train got in but we went around in circles for a couple of hours looking for it, the fault being entirely ours! Since the name of the hotel is so familiarly English (thus couldn't be forgotten or mistaken) and we were informed in Tokyo that it... More

This is a clean and no nonsense business hotel near the Hakata trainstation. The room and bathroom are ok but quite small. We found that the bed was ok but a little too soft (like a water bed). This hotel provide free showergel, shampoo, towels and green tea. The room is equipped with a fine tv (with different Japanese and... More

A cheap and simple hotel that, besides the lack of wi-fi, did suit our needs. Our overnight stay here was the result of a last minute change of plan. We had to take the ferry to Yeosu at 8am, so location with easy access to the ferry was important. Also important: price, as we arrived late and left early.

Good basic small business hotel, stayed there for 6 nights. Right next to the Canal City Shopping Center. 7-11 right next door and Family Mart across the street. Very clean hotel, helpful desk clerks, slight language problem, but we did manage to get by. Close to many sites and the trains were about 13 minutes away. We did not have... More

We spent two nights in Hakata court hotel ekimae during a three weeks honeymoon trip around Japan. It is a classic business hotel with small rooms and en suite toilets / shower room. It was clean and the bed was good. The location was perfect for us : 10 minutes walk of the train station and around 15 minutes walk... More
