I stayed there on 8 Sep 2014 before flying out of Fukuoka Airport. The hotel is less than 5 mins away from Hakata station and it's easy to find the hotel. The room was facing to the station but the noise from the road was not bad at all. (The station is so huge, so you wouldn't be able to... More

Just across the road from Hakata City train station, which has loads of eating options, including a mall of ramen noodle shops, this hotel is very conveniently located for those in transit like ourselves who arrive late in the day and have an early start the next morning. At only $70 a night for a double, including breakfast it represents... More

Leave the Hakata train station, look across the street and a bit to the right, and there's the hotel. Really convenient. The rooms are small, but not expensive considering the great location in the heart of everything. For a bit more money a larger room is possible. Everything was clean and neat. The staff is helpful, with minimal English. We... More

The reasons why I choose this hotel: (1) it is the most economical hotel included in the flight package to Fukuoka (2) it is very close to Hakata JR Station, and these 2 reasons remain the significant advantages of this hotel. Although it is apparent that this hotel is a bit old, but its price is very reasonable, and it... More

I spent one night at this hotel before departing from Japan at the Fukuoka airport. I drove a rental car up from the Amakusa region using the car's GPS navigation to guide me. I got to the hotel fine, but had a little trouble getting to the parking garage, mainly because I wasn't exactly sure where it was. There are... More

Although hotel is little tired and in need of renovation, we had very enjoyable two night stay. Hotel very convenient to Hakata station (across street). Taxi fare to Fukuoka Airport International terminal was only 1020 yen. Complimentary breakfast included bread, rolls, waffle, cereal, 4 kinds of musubi (rice balls), salad, potato salad, two kinds of soup and sausage. One morning... More

Of all the hotels we've stayed at during our three trips to Japan the Comfort Hakodate was the worst. Drinking glasses were not changed. The carpeting in Room 1111 was worn and dirty. The counters and fixtures were old. The bathtub no longer fit flush against the wall. And residing on the bathroom walls were these tiny little insects. The... More

We stayed here two nights. It's a very convenient hotel to get to if you arrive by train (or subway from the airport) in that it is directly opposite the entrance to the Hakata (main) train station (on the side heading towards Tenjin.) Two minutes' walk, if that, and no stairs to climb. The hotel is also EXTREMELY affordable. The... More

I stayed in this hotel overnight, for no more than 12 hours. The hotel building is visible as soon as you get out of the Hakata Station, from where a short walk under a canopy takes you to the front door. The location is superb for someone like me who needed to spend a night in Hakata before departing the... More
