This hotel is centrally located just outside the Hakata subway station/JR Hakata station (for the Shinkansen bullet train) and is very convenient for travelers. It is just a short 4 stations 15-min train ride from the Fukuoka airport (one way at Yen 260 train fare). Outside the hotel and within the vicinity are simply too many restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc.,... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night upon arrival in Fukuoka. Super easy hotel to use upon arrival in Japan, here's why: Fukuoka airport is small and manageable with a train that connects it to the Hakata/Fukuoka main train station. a short 15 minute ride. This hotel is literally just outside the main train station. The area is clean... More

This hotel was a great place to begin our holiday in Japan... Every other place felt like a paradise after leaving it! The Centraza Hakata is a very centrally located hotel, next to JR Hakata station. Service at the reception and in the bar was quite friendly. And those were pretty much all the positives. The reason we ended up... More

Hotel is next to train station so very convenient. Upon arrival, the hall and room had a very strong smoker smell. Not sure if they have smoke free room. Smell lessen on the second day. Room did provide the bath amenities. The hotel appears to be old and needs renovation.

This hotel is definitely in need of a major refresh. It's saturated with the smell of smoke, which hung heavily in both the rooms my party stayed in. Everywhere the carpet and walls are grimy and stained, the whole atmosphere is depressing. Conveniently located, but there are better choices all around.

Hotel is conveniently located near the Hakata Train Station. The lounge is located at the entrance to the room elevators. It is a smoking lounge, which I believe is typically common for Japanese restaurants However, the smell of smoke is tremendous. Carpets in the hallways are worn, stained, and just old. It sure needs updating. The room seemed clean though... More

I stayed in Hotel Centraza Hakata on 27th June night while on way back to Bangkok from Fukuoka. The hotel is located in front of JR Hakata Station and around 10 min from Fukuoka international airport. Compared to Oita, I did not like the hotel. The hotel staff here hardly greets the guests. There is a peculiar smell in the... More

We stayed with my mom and sister at this hotel last May 2013...we found the hotel to be sufficient small and clean. Planning for an additional bed would be probably diffucult since there won't be enough comfortable place for an extra bed. Hotel was clean and centrally located nearing shopping malls and the Hakata train station. Pretty much everything is... More

The Centraza is conveniently-located next to Hakata Station in Fukuoka. Despite its busy locale, the hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. The single room is a little alarmingly small, but functional and not unpleasant. Restaurants available on the property are excellent.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We had booked a triple room. There was just enough space to put our luggage. Not much space to walk around. However, given the price (JPY 3700 per person) and the location, can't complain. However, one problem we had was that the bed for the 3rd person was converted from the couch... More
