We stayed here one night to be conveniently close to the airport (compared to where my in-laws live). The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hakata station. There are several food options in the vicinity and you are only a couple of subway stops from the heart of Fukuoka. The rooms are cheap for such a good location. On the... More

A very decent business hotel that is exactly what you pay for. There are basically three levels of hotels here. Green hotel 1, Green hotel 2, and Green hotel annex. Each one is better than the last, and a little more expensive. There is good service here, but I would not expect anyone to speak much English. If you are... More

I needed a place to stay so I could catch early morning international flight. Staff had very poor English skills but got point across. Very safe for solo traveler as close to railway and bus. Cheap taxi ride to airport (around 1200 yen) or 250 yen by underground. Small but everything you need to overnight in safe clean place. Food... More

My boyfriend and I travelled around Japan for a few weeks, finding our hotels as we arrived in a city. We decided to try staying somewhere a little cheaper, thus we ended up here. The room was tiny, there was a bad smell in the wardrobe, and the carpet was pretty gross. No way I would've put my bare feet... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Green Hotel here in the this very lively city. Comfortable room, friendly staff. Free internet in the lobby. It lacked nothing and at a good price. More

Stayed here for 1 night and the reason why we chose it was its proximity to the train station as we were due to catch an early train the next day. The hotel was about a 5-7 mins walk from the station, and pretty easy to find, in comparison to the other hotels we stayed in during our 9 days... More

Have travelled to various cities in Japan many times. Usually stay in business hotels so do know that rooms in those business hotels are small. However, the room (double) we got in this particular hotel is even smaller. On the other hand, the check-out time is 12PM whilst almost all other business hotels have check-out time at 10AM or 11AM.... More

We got to Hakata and found this hotel right near the train station, almost ruling it out given the assumption that such a location would command a high price. Fortunately, this was not so, and after our horrid experiences in Nagano we decided to spend two nights at this hotel (making it the longest stay in any hotel of our... More

5 of us stayed in the japanese style room it was basic no-frills but clean and very liveable. most importantly, it was extremely affordable at less than 50 sgd per pax per night and right in the heart of things. if you want to be right in the middle of the night life however, do stay at Tenjin instead the... We only stayed here for 1 night on-route to Mt Aso from Tokyo, and though the room was very small, the hotel was very clean and in a very convenient location near hakata JR station. It is less than 1 minute walk away and near all the glitziness of Hakata. Hakata is such a big city with so many lights!... More
