This is an excellent hotel. My family and I stayed here for 5 nights. The staff were always very friendly and willing to help. The hotel is also located in a very good location. It's just a 5 minute walk to one of the main train station's - Hakata Station. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were a group of five people, four adults and one baby, staying at the Hotel Sunline for one night. We bought a package with dinner and breakfast from a website. The hotel location was not too bad as it is not too far from Hakata station. We chose to stay in a Japanese style room. The room was big... More

This is a very good hotel. Location is good, near the Hakata station and Canal City Mall. We stayed in the triple room, which fits 5 of us (2 adults + 3 kids). The room is clean, staff helpful with good English. We even try out the hot spring opposite the hotel ( so good after a day of walking).... More

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good bathrooms, good breakfast (good coffee machine), conveniently located, overall a pleasant experience, so you can imagine our disappointment when they refused to supply a receipt for our cash payment.

Great location, only 10 min walk from Hakata station. Room is slightly larger than the typical business hotel (still small for world standards)...efficient check-in and check-out...only problem was the weak wifi, if I actually had some important work to do, it would've been a big problem...everything else was great!

For the purposes of putting bags down and somewhere to put up our feet after a good days outing with the family around this pleasantly presented city.....this hotel was ok. If you are a family with young kids you'll need your stroller otherwise skip this one. Typical business hotel with usual bath unit which is small but it does the... More

This was nearly the cheapest hotel on out recent month-long trip to Japan but had everything you could need and was clean and quiet. A fair 10 minute walk from the train station but in a very nice business district. The small double room was much bigger than the other 'small' rooms we encountered across Japan.

As expected, Japanese hotels are usually spotless and this one is no exception. Rooms like fairly new with fresh carpeting and equipped with fridge and hair dryer. Wifi is available free of charge. Reception always had an English-speaking person on duty and are quick to serve you. The 100 yen bus stop is just on the main road 1 block... More

I stayed at the Sunline for 1 night at the start of my most recent Japanese holiday, and found the location and quality of the room to be very good. On arrival I was surprised, the room was larger than those I have encountered in Tokyo and Osaka, and filled with the all amenities that traditionally come with Japanese hotels.... More

This was a convenient place to stay in Fukuoka. It is a short walk from the Hakata subway station which is just several stops from the airport. I walked to Canal City shopping complex many times. I would say it is about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. I stayed in a single room which is identical to the... More
