This is a great hotel, right in a popular entertainment area with lots of food options around. Walking distance to Canal City and shopping arcades for some serious shopping. It's also easily accessible via the subway. The rooms are not terribly big but that's expected in Japan. Breakfast is also good, with Japanese and Western selections. Very good option in... More

Stayed two nights in Resol Hakata for a shopping trip. I would highly recommend single men, groups and couples to stay in this hotel. Location: Just 1 min walk from exit 1 of NakasuKawabata MRT Station (if you big and heavy luggages, use exit 4). Less than 10 mins walk from the hotel to Tenjin shopping area and Canal City... More

This hotel is very brand new and convenient to access from subway nakasukawabata. It's just 3-5mins from station by walk. I booked for triple room and stayed for 1 night. An accommodation style is quite modern. Triple room was just really good and fit for 3 people since we have sufficient area to open luggage. As compare to hotel in... More

Read a number of comments about the 'bad' neighbourhood this hotel was in. After being there I conclude all is relative.. I enjoy lively places and this hotel is definitely in a lively neighbourhood at night. Never does it get really bad though. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is good, though not groundbreaking. We enjoyed ourselves... More

Near to the subway station. Easy to get around Fukuoka. The room is clean and new. Not too small comparing to most Japan hotels. Breakfast is also quite good with many types of food to choose from. Lobby has a good view.

Basically - Not at all recommended to families with small children/adolescents, just because the hotel is literally surrounded, as has been repeatedly mentioned, deeply by an ATMOSPHERE of, and people working for, adult entertainment - yes it can be disgusting in a sense and would be a nightmare for tourists first-ever to Japan. The ATMOSPHERE itself is neither provocative nor... More

New hotel, over-hyped with average location where there are bars, night clubs with plenty of ladies and guys asking you especially if you are a male walking alone or in a group. Tiny rooms, better off if you choose older hotels with bigger space. Noise is a issue when you are constantly hear, see drunks shouting. For my stay -... More

My husband & I stayed here for 3 nights, our first time in Fukuoka. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from NAKASA-KAWABATA station, which is in the middle of everything(between Tenjin & Hakata). The hotel was very clean...I'm pretty picky about sanitation, but I didn't see a speck of dust, a piece of hair or any smudges anywhere. I... More
