The Candeo hotel offers a perfect facility for couples or single travellors. Good sized room, comfortable bed, fresh air and great shower. In a quiet location on the river, it is still located very close and in easy walking distance to the bar and restaurant area. Adjoining Italian Reataurant is superb!

I had never stayed at a Candeo property, but chose the Hakata Terrace for its location in Fukuoka, right between Hakata and Tenjin. We were met in the lobby by a staff of people that went out of their way to meet our very want and need. They were genuinely happy to make us happy. The room was very large,... More

The hotel is very near Canal City. There is 7-11 near the hotel. The reception has good service mind even though they are not good at english. The room is clean. This is my recommend hotel if you want to shopping at Canal city.

We stayed here with four people in a suite and there was more than enough room for all of us! The room was very modern and clean, and has a very beautiful view of Canal City during the day and night. The bathrooms were big and pleasurable to use, and staff was very helpful and kind. Would definitely com here... More

This was a one night, in and out kind of stay. I may even have rated the place 5 of 5 if I had had more time to assess, but it's hard to say when it's simply check in late-check out early. Nice little place, trendy, significantly bigger than average room size for Japan, well appointed, VERY comfortable bed, nice... More

This hotel is really off the radar but such good value. We stayed here for 2 nights this month and love it. We have 3 young kids and wanted somewhere close to canal city as we had spent 2 nights at richmond tenjin earlier in the week. The hyatt was way too expensive for a large room with 2 double... More

Wow. What a great location. Sitting on my lounge, looking across the river to the Hyatt and lights of the Canal City. Walking distance to Hakata and Fukuoka train station. Strong wifi, very nice room, beds and bathroom. 7eleven supplies only 20 metres down the road. Staff are very nice and attentive but not much english. Minor problem because they... More

The location was perfect - on the river and just across from Canal city. We pretty much could walk everywhere. The hotel room was simple and clean - we liked that it still had style (contemporary/modern) vs. a sheraton/hilton. Of course the rooms were a bit small given it's Japan, but we expected that. The beds are slightly hard and... More

I stayed in a riverside king room, which are the #x01 rooms nearest the elevator and are the smallest rooms. Although supposedly 23 sq m (247 sq ft), which is average for 3-4 star hotels in Japan (tiny!), it felt smaller because the room included a narrow passage way. There was a king sized bed however room for not much... More

It looks like I'm going to be the first one to write an English review on this hotel. The taxi driver had a little bit of trouble to find the hotel coming from the train station but we eventually found it, right on the river, facing Canal city, a huge shopping mall with tons of restaurants and shops. (1000 yen... More
