We stayed in a twin room at Hotel Active! for 3 nights in end Nov. Because the first night was a Saturday, the rate was much higher at 15800yen. The next two nights on a Wednesday and Thursday were 12800yen and 15800yen respectively due to a doctor convention in the town. Normal room rate is 9800 for a twin bed... More

It's a better option of a business hotel than Toyoko Inn with very good price for a semi double room, spacious enough to open two small-size luggage. The hotel is only 5-10 mins walk from Hakata Station, conveniently located near ramen, yakitori restaurants and 7-11 & Lawson. Breakfast is great with Japanese and western. Will definitely stay here again.

I booked this hotel through email with prompt reply (better check your junk mail if no reply received from them). Location: Less than 10 min walk from station. Food craving? You can find plenty of choices in the station. Shopping is very convenience too. Hotel: Great value with the price i paid. Cozy design, tiny but clean room and bathroom,... More

This hotel is great for travellers to Fukuoka. Easy to get to from the train station and in a great location to walk to many parts of the city. The room was very small definitely about the size of a business hotel. That was what we expected in Japan. What made it good was the extras. The Onsen bath was... More

Its about a few min walk from the JR station which has alot of amenities nearby We had a Twin room which had huge single beds (even by western standards) but comparatively the room is tiny with no room to spare (you could just about open 1 large suitcase) but the room size is not unexpected Breakfast was surprisingly good... Ideal location close to station with plenty of eating choices around, not difficult in Japan! Room was adequate size but perfect for single traveller, all the mod cons, nice and warm, good bathroom. I especially like the complimentary hot drink machine on every level as you exit the elevator.Breakfast was great, busy, but easy to get a seat, very good choices and... More

Only within 8mins walk could easily go to JR, while also there's a shopping centre and food gallery there. Room is tiny (may also due to I just finished my stay on Kyoto in Japanese style ryokan), we two people cannot open our luggage at the same time. Considering it is just for a brief stay, it's fine. The onsen... More

What a gem. Only 4 minutes walk from the rail station and in a quiet street. The rooms are very small, and I mean small, but this is typical of all 3 star hotels in Japan (even some 4 star). If you have been to Singapore you will know what I mean. The bathroom is really a cubicle stuck in... More

Pros. 1. Location: very close to the station, shops and restaurants. 2. B'fast: great variety with Japanese and western style food. Delicious. 3. Onsen: I fell in love with this. It was the best thing ever at the end of the day. When I was using it at late evenings, usually there's nobody else. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hair... More
