I booked this hotel in desperation as a convergence of events in Fukuoka meant that rooms were filling quickly. The location may worry some as it is in the nakasu 'entertainment' and red light district. It is conveniently located to a subway stop. I stayed in a comfort single. The room was small but had everything I needed. The glassed... More

Dear Weegiewife, Thank you very much for choosing our hotel as your base in Hakata. And also, thank you for taking your time to write your review. As you mentioned in your review, we provide some single rooms with the glassed-in bathrooms. Our hotel is located in the centre of Hakata city. So our room size is not so large,... More

excellent location. 24 hrs supermarket and 24 hrs store just across the street. very close to the subway station. wifi is only available in the lobby, not in room. it costs less than 2000JPY to airport.

I stayed here with my partner in December 2013, as part of our tour of Japan. This hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Hakata, just around the corner from the main train station. We got the room at a very cheap rate (£27 or 4300Y for the night). We stayed for one night and didn't get breakfast in... More

Being from Europe I'm neither used to hotels with only 5-10% double bedrooms nor very small in rooms. However service is top notch like everywhere in Japan with very dedicated and service minded staff. Very centrally located. Rates very competitive.

Best Western is very close located in the 'red light district' of Nakasu. We booked a comfort twin room to have a little bit more space. Actually, we didn't understand why Best Western don't offer any room with a king size bed. The rooms are a bit old, many spots on carpet and wall also wallpaper pealing off. Because beds... More

This hotel is great for a visit to Fukuoka, as it is affordable by Japanese standards (probably pricey by other country's standards though), comfortable and very central, practically on the doorstep of the most central subway line. We stayed here for 8 nights in a semi-double room, and while the room is pretty small, it was fine for 8 nights.... More

I have chosen this hotel based on the price and location for my stay in fukuoka. The Hotel was spotless, the people very kind (as usual in Jp) and the breakfast basic but good enough to start the day. Ok the room was really really small, but I knew from the beginning and then I cannot complain at all about... More

Hotel location is a PLUS! 4-stops direct from airport line subway. Surrounded by many good dining places and mini Mart. Only regrets is they do nit accept early check-in. Strongly advise to those morning arrival, please book your trip including your arrival day if u need a rest. Room is small....that's Japan. but has most of the amenity everyone need.... More

The hotel is just 1 minute walk away from Nakasu subway station. Some staff speak fairly good English and is helpful in providing information. We are fortunate to order a promotion-priced room which is really good value. Try to book in advance if possible!

It is very close to the subway; an excellent location. The staff can speak English. The downside is the space. the room, as well as double bed, is very small, and the rate is relatively high comparing to other hotels in Hakata. (17000 JPY, a double bed for one night).
