We stayed 2 nights at end May after we were done travelling around Kyushu, paying 18390 a night for a twin room. Although the room was clearly well-used, it was comfortable enough. There is a good-sized TV. This is a very busy hotel for passing businessmen n travellers to rest for the night. The selling point is firstly the natural... More

Thank you very much for staying at dormy inn Hakata Gion this time. During staying overnight, I know the sign you could meet very happily. A customer also seems able to be satisfied now, staff one, I make an effort. When coming to Fukuoka, please stay to this palace by all means. I'm waiting more than a heart. Front desk ... More

I stayed here with my friend in the middle of May 2015. Overall, I satisfied with the service and room here. The room is very small but this is normal when you live in japan. I like that the Family mart is close to the hotel just open the door from the hotel lobby room. There is a free Ramen... More

Just a few steps away from the subway station, Gion. So it's very easy to find its location. The staff are nice and helpful. A familymart convenience store is next to the hotel and with an entrance just in the lobby of the hotel. We booked a room combined with western style and Japanese style. It's big enough and very... The room was comfortable but pretty small and without a closet. (There were two hooks to hang, at most, three or four hangars.) There was very little floor space rendering it impossible to simultaneously open two suitcases. The very strong smell of cigarette smoke blanketed the hallway on our non-smoking floor. It was pretty bad. The onsen on the second... More

This hotel is not too far from the train station. We walked with our luggage and it took around 14 mins to reach the hotel lobby. The hotel offers free wifi. No password needed. There is an onsen in the hotel as well. But we didnt join it as it was quite crowded when we went there. One of the... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location is excellent, with many attractions in the area (Canal City, many temples and shrines). The rooms are clean but small. Some equipments could be renewed. Staff is helpful. I would come back in this hotel if I had to stay again in Fukuoka.

This hotel staff is friendly and helpful! While we made a reservation with this hotel, we did not notice we chose a wrong date until the moment check in. Hotel staff was nice enough to provide a room for us even though the reservation date was incorrect. It was great customer service. Hotel was in a great location, 5 minutes... More

This location is perfect for my itinerary. Exit hotel, turn right, walk for 5 min, see a canal, and you have reached Canal City. Cross the Canal, walk for 2 min, see a second canal, and you have reached Nakasu, where the Yatai stalls are. Gion station is right at the doorstep. One stop to the east is Hakata station,... More

Hotel room is rather small as we booked a double. Bed seem to be slightly smaller than a Queen size and I found it a bit tight to sleep for 2. Hotel onsen on 2F is really the selling point. Soak in it after a tiring day is welcomed. Free noodles served from 9.30-11 pm is also at the restaurant... More

Very comfortable stay here for about a week. Only about 10-15 minute walk from Hakata Station or one stop on the subway to Gion Station (exit 3). Room was average size for Japan and all facilities were great in the room. Onsen is lovely and excellent to unwind in after a days sightseeing. Complimentary noodles at night a nice bonus.... More
