Stayed for 3 nights to pick up a Korean visa. Hotel was great value for money, with friendly, English-speaking staff and in a great location. The hotel was a 15 minute, simple walk to the consulate and a 15 minute tube ride to the airport. There was more than enough around the area to keep us occupied; Ohori Park was... More

The Sunline hotel is well located, 1 minute walk to the Ohorikoen (K6). Clean room with free toiletries. Friendly staff, free bikes and good wifi. A good place to stay in Fukuoka. Subway connections: 20 min to Fukuoka airport, 10 min to Hakata Station

Located just couple of minutes from Ohorikoen Station, this hotel is perfectly situated 2 stops away from Tenpin City and other great attractions. The famous Ohori Park is just opposite, a great start to the day by having breakfast by the lake and enjoy the tranquility. We booked a Twin room and its huge comparing to a Japan standard. Rooms... I searched long for a reasonably-priced modern hotel near the Hakata station and this was one of the two which I eventually booked and I'm very satisfied with it. Service staff could communicate in English and we had a special request for some documents to fulfill our travel insurance requirements and they managed to help us with that (in many... More

The Pluses - Perhaps the best you can get in Fukuoka in this price range. Service staff speaks some English which is a plus. Located just around the corner from the Ohorikoen station. Ohorikoen, great place to be for Cherry Blossoms and the annual Ohori Fireworks Festival. Decently sized rooms for the price, just very slightly bigger than the average... More

The hotel itself was great, plus it's not too expensive. One big plus is that it provided customers bikes for rental, and it's FREE of charge! :D Just make sure that you wake up early in the morning (limited bikes) and head to the counter to ask for the keys and you'll be able to use the bicycle to roam... Stayed here for 10 days with my family. It's very close to the subway. Only about 6 mins walk. Very convenient if you travel frequently by subway. The park is also nearby and kids will love a ride on the swan boats there. There's a local 24hrs Gourmet City where you can get your grocery and japanese bento and sashimi.... More

We spend 3 night in this hostel. Staff is nice and available. The room is also very confortable even if it's a smoking room. We are a non-smoking couple, so the smoke smell was disturbing a bit. Shower and toilets are private and OK. Nothing special to say about this hostel, not amazing but not bad too.

Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, well run, safe and clean hotel. It's location is a little distant from the main centre of Fukuoka, however it has the bonus of being close to the beautiful Ohori park with it's lake, and you can even see turtles swimming around. There are free bike rentals but get there... More

Pretty average Japanese hotel, nothing special, but clean and no issues. It was cheap and although it was kind of out of the way it was close to where I needed to be. There was complementary water in the rooms which is a rarity in hotels of this price range in Japan
