Check in was smooth, beds are good, room is very clean. Very nice ocean view was so beautiful, especially sunrise and sunset were a best, ans Service of the staff was great! breakfast has a lot of choice, food was so delicious. We appreciated the free shuttle service from Hakata station to Hotel. We loved everything about the Luigans. Definetly... More

The rooms are excellent for Japan. The ocean view is well worth the premium for room price. The food is pricey, around 2000-4500 a person. The actual spa ranges 12,000 to 35,000 each so I didn't try that. It's right next to a ferry that takes you to the city and the hotel provides a shuttle bus. Ample parking is... More

I stayed at the beginning of September for a week long business conference. Because it was the beginning of the low season, the hotel was relatively empty, and the pool was closed. The rooms were relatively large, but a bit run-down, and the furnishing could definitely use some updating. The main restaurant had a great selection of food, but service... More

We had a great ocean-view room with 4 super single beds. Quiet and peaceful resort with park, aquarium and ferry point at close proximity. My family spent the entire afternoon in the uminonakamichi seaside park, with rental bikes! Breezy even though temperature was high, approx. 28-31 degC. Weekday breakfast offers ala carte style, which includes egg Benedict, curry rice dish... More

On the sea, three restaurants, a spa to die for..near Aquarium/Sea World. Some English speaking staff. Awesome rooms-gorgeous setting. Book 2 weeks ahead by phone for the spa; facial was the best I've had anywhere...as was the process (allow 3 hours); steakhouse was perfect. Staff exceeded our expectations especially front desk staff (T something and Kota something were their names);... More

2 adults, 3 children: all of us enjoyed our stay. Very helpful, friendly and profesional staff. The perfect place to unwide when visiting Japan with a large family. Great view from the rooms, great rooms (we tested the 6th and 2sd floors), very good food in the Italian restaurant. For Europeans, ask for the Italian waiter: he will provide with... More

Hotel staff member who spoke good English and driver met me at the airport with classic Japanese efficiency. On arrival at the hotel the front desk staff were welcoming though I think I had the only English speaking member of staff with me in the car. My room was well appointed with spacious window seat overlooking the pool, good functional... More

When looking into staying in Fukuoka, we decided to book this hotel even though we couldn't read the reviews (as we are foreigners). We booked through a site at home called Expedia and it came up cheaper than staying in a dorm room in the middle of the city (between the 2 of us). Granted we are off peak season... More
