Three things: 1. Hotel onsen is a must try The in room shower is tiny and the showerhead falls off the holster when you turn up the water stream... But who cares! Take ALL of your baths downstairs at the common bath filled with local wakayama hot spring water (onsen). I promise you will be going back again and again.... More

The hotel is new, and located 340m from the main JR station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are larger than the usual Japanese business hotel, and very nicely done. The sink is separate from the toilet / shower. I did not take the square meters down, but it seemed to be about 25% larger than the normal... More

10 mins walking distance from station. Decent breakfast buffet, thoughtful tea drink at reception, relaxing communal bath, and a tidy with individual air conditoning in room, fantastic. Overall, this hotel chain is highly recommended. Plus, with helpful and well-mannered English speaking staff.

We were staying in Dormy inn Premium Wakayama on 19 April 2014 for two days to visit the city and nearby. As it has just opened for 2 years, everything is quite new. It is located only 5 minutes walking distance from the JR station. The Reception staffs are very efficient and make your check in and out peace of... More

The hotel is a 6 minute walk from the Wakayama train station West Exit. It is clean, new and inexpensive. Free breakfast and late night ramen. Also complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. They have washer/dryers for use and a common use Onsen style bath. The rooms are modestly furnished but perfect for a budget stay.

The hotel is clean and the location is close to the station. We enjoyed the hot spring and free noodles offered by the hotel. Hotel car parking spaces are very limited on first come first serve basis.

I was on business with my colleague and guests. [Pros] -. They have a public Onsen inside. It's very nice. -. The hotel is supposedly brand new. Very clean and pristine. -. The room is rather small but the bed is big and the beddings were soft and clean. Great for the price I believe. -. Free noodles at the... More

If you're in Japan to walk the Kumano Kodo trail in Wakayama prefecture, this hotel is a great first/last night option for travellers in and out of Kansai airport. Easy access from Airport -- 40 min on the limousine bus (leaves airport every 30 min). Bus stops at JR train station and then it's a level 5 min walk to... More

This is a brand new hotel that opened this last year. It is within walking distance from the subway/train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fairly big for Japan. However the best thing was the public bath! They are separated male and female, with the female one locked requiring an electric pin code for entry security.... More
